Do your research. Appears to be a puppy mill that has had multiple run ins with SPCA. It’s morally deplorable to call some back yard breeding business a β€œrescue”. The prices and puppies alone should be a dead give away this isn’t a rescue... and further research will just prove that. The puppies shown are cute... but the life they (and their parents) live is NOT CUTE, and if you give these people money you’re not rescuing anything, you’re only supporting animal neglect & unprofessional breeding. My biggest issue here aside from the puppy mill itself- would be the fact that it’s being called a rescue! Rescues save animals from pain, they don’t create and add to it, bottom line. Also would like to add if you checkout the positive reviews, some of them are made by google accounts/fake names that were made that same day that the review was posted and some of them have never posted any reviews prior.

I got my first Chihuahua from this place 7 years ago she was an absolute Beauty I had no problems with dealing with joanie, unfortunately at the beginning of the month on February here my little girl was attacked by a malamute dog, and I have come back to get another dog from her. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog he is a loving lady and the pets are just amazing and to top it all off she has not a puppy mill. If you see these dogs they are not locked up in cages they are free and they can roam around they are loving and I have nothing bad to say about this place.

I am so very pleased with my Chi-Pom, β€œSuria Taupa Cowgirl”…who graciously arrived in my arms from Joanie, of Mixed Blessings Puppies about a year ago… What a beautiful gal, (Suria is…) and she is soon to be a year old on January 25/22. Suria has bonded with me from a six week old puppy, in keeping with a tender heart of gold. Suria is extremely intelligent, knows her place and who she is…I’d say, she’s been a dog before, in a past life…!!! I cannot express how much I love and adore this little gal…, I just do…!!! Mixed Blessings Puppies, (on behalf of Joanie), provides lovely, home raised puppies. I’d gladly seek another addition from Joanie without a second thought. Thank you Joanie for all of the extensive hours of work you put into Mixed Blessings Puppies in order to provide such bondable connections to and for both the dogs/puppies and people of interest. Suria Taupa Cowgirl ~ what a bonus to my life, now and forever? Lynda Hill ~ ~ ~ I am amazed at the EXTREME, CONSTANT CRITICISM and RUDE REMARKS from Society that I have read throughout these reviews. Life is not perfect ~ not for the farmer and his livestock, nor the pet store with live pets, nor the breeder one in the same, not even perfect in our own family atmosphere at times. If you have a disgruntle with any said person, don't you think reaching out to the said individual and their circumstances in a calm and mature manner would be far more beneficial? It appears not, in this case ~ as the SPCA received a complaint in which they had to follow up on. So drastically sad, that it went this way. For it wasn't just the said person you affected. You also interrupted immediate customers who were in the middle of their transactions with Mixed Blessings, such as myself. Next of this, these animals are now locked in cages, separated from a common ground they are use to, stressed with the sudden change, yearning for the said person who they know personally through their eyes and warm hearts, their destiny is unknown at this point. Re-homing, euthanized, etc.. The SPCA has asked for donations from the public to look after these animals. Why does the cost fall on our shoulders when it was the SPCA who seized the animals. If the SPCA can't manage on their own terms, this is one reason why the animals should not have been removed from the said persons premises. Pregnant Moms will deliver their young, at the SPCA, so who's getting a piece of the pie, that wasn't rightfully theirs, over the said persons interest.

I got the sweetest little baby, most kissable little puppy from mixed blessings. Came with shots, proof of vaccines and wormer. Her doggies are all so sweet, especially the little one I got. Thank you Joanie

We now have an adorable little guy who is so well adjusted with our dog, I chalk that up to Joanie and all she does for the dogs she loves. I have nothing but good to say about my interactions with Joanie and her dogs. Keep up the good work J. I really don't know why people have to be so cruel. I truly believe in Karma and hope that all the trolls on the review gets theirs soon. For the record, the SPCA did take some dogs and puppies, only to NOT press charges and they did return the dogs. The puppies were kept and the SPCA adopted them out at a PROFIT!
