The service was welcoming, helpful, clean & professional. They did everything they could to ensure I got the best deal & service possible. Thank to Shawna for her kindness & generosity, which makes such a difference while experiencing difficult situations. I will definitely be returning if their service is ever needed again.

I have to say I've dealt with a few transmission shops in my life and Mr. Transmission inlethbridge treated me with the most exceptional and courteous service i could even imagine existed. Dave and Shawna and Fred treated me like family the best service and quality workmanship you could ever need. They have my business from now on. Thank you very much???

Edit 06/10/21: One of the owners called today to apologize and gave us a refund. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The only reason they get one star is because zero is not an option. Over the phone before dropping the truck off we asked what it would cost us to have them look at the problem and get a quote done on getting our transmission replaced. We were very specifically told that there would be no charge to drive the truck and do a basic diagnostic, and if they needed to do anything that would cost us money they would call us. I cannot emphasize it enough that we were extremely clear on the matter of cost before dropping off the vehicle. My husband got a call from them the next day informing us of what exactly they had done and what had they found, and also that we owed them $198.10. The balance owing caught us totally off guard as we had never authorized anything beyond the diagnostic and quote we had originally agreed to that we were told would be no cost. After my husband informed me of our unexpected bill, I decided to call the shop as a "new customer" and get a quote on exactly what they would charge to do exactly what they told us they did on our truck aside from adding some oil, and we were again told there would be no charge for that service. I then called the shop back again to ask about the charges on our truck. The lady on the phone explained that $73 of it was for a transmission oil top up since ours was low and they needed to add the oil to do the diagnostic properly. That's absolutely reasonable and we certainly would have approved that expense had they called us and asked first, but they didn't. The remaining balance was a diagnostic fee which as I previously mentioned they very clearly stated there would not be. When I pointed out that they had very clearly said there would be no fee for the work we requested and they would call us for approval before proceeding if that changed, she told me that she would remove the diagnostic fee but that I had to pay the fee for the oil because, as she put it "there's no arguing that". I again pointed out that they proceeded with work without getting our approval and she then said that she would take off the charges for the oil, but that they would then go in and DRAIN THE OIL from my truck that they had added before I could have my truck back. They were unfortunately able to extort the $73 out of us, but if I didn't pay it they were going to touch my truck again and there was no way in hell that was happening, plus with the way things had gone up to this point I figured they'd probably try to bill us for draining the oil anyway. Needless to say we're taking our transmission job elsewhere.

Words cannot begin to describe how grateful I am for Shawna and Dave. From the moment walked in I felt like I had known Shawna for years. Their kindness and compassion throughout this whole process did not go unnoticed and I am so thankful for everything they did for me! I knew the transmission needed work and was happy they were able to repair and upgrade it in house. They also diagnosed and repaired seized u-joints in the front axles - missed by another shop I had the truck in to a week prior. They kept me informed and I had the truck back sooner than expected. I am very happy with their work.
