★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service. Had an issue with a head I had resurfaced and it turned out the head was shot and they never told me even though they inspected it.
I called in to ask about it and was basically told, ‘it’s not our problem’ in a very rude manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I been ordering Parts for my 455 Engine build and dealing with Jesse. It's been great. It seems like now a day, when you order a part, and pay for it, you are off they priority list of most other companies. This is NOT with Performance Powertrain company; they keep you updated on your order. You are still on the priority list; they go the extra mile. To me this mean a lot. Plus, they were able to get me parts I needed in a very timely fashion, I mean with-in a week. When the big auto parts company tell you months to get the part. I give them five stars for sure.
I also run a company, I do also keep my customers updated on items they may have order, just so nice to see there is still other companies that also do extra to please the customer, let's call it "old fashion way" of business. Great job

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you ask ALL the questions before you purchase anything! I have no doubt that they know their stuff about engines, but I called to ask who in Lethbridge might have what I was looking for, and was told "We do!" When I went to pick it up, he waited till after the credit transaction went through to tell me it was special order! The project was very time sensitive, and I even gave him a chance to deliver it in the 3 days, but it took 4 and it no longer made sense for me to pick it up. When I asked to return it, I was told 20% restocking fee! This guy might know his stuff, but maybe ask him questions and then order from RockAuto.com
Edit: I definitely didn't understand that they were special order, as it was never mentioned, and I called on Monday and was told to call back Tuesday as Jesse was the only one authorized to cancel the order and wasn't in till then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was planning to drop of a motor within the next 2 days for machining. Called today to ask for a ball park price on a rebuild kit including everything from bearings, lifters, pushrods, cam and rockers. I wasn't looking to reuse anything besides the block and head. I was told I had the cart before the horse and time is a valuable commodity so he won't be looking into it. Pretty standard for a company to provide a master overhaul kit and I think I should be allowed to have a price on a kit before 1000 bucks worth of machining is done. Wont be dropping that motor off there any more, good job guys, good to see companies who care to help a customer or even listen to them at all.
