However, please be cautions: 1] Came in to view the place, laundry room door was written under construction but was open , with a slight push it flung open . Agent comes over from back closes door and says its because of asbestos leak and construction and needs to keep door closed. However there was no signage mentioning - risks of exposure and the door was slightly open beforehand. This was not mentioned before I rented this place and no air quality check was made available to me to say the place is liveable and we are not at risk. 2] My husband has mild allergy to pet hairs. they definitely steamed the carpet but forgot to clean it. I have been vacuuming with bunches of pet hair still coming out in round 3 of cleaning. 3] Today Oct 4, 2021. Went into the lobby to go out. Saw two men coming out of the same laundry room [asbes construction zone] were going with bags of garbage and they had kept the door wide open and were not worried about closing it like the avenue living agent. Bad Experience, which has put our health at risk for the rest of our lives!

Over the past 4 years there have been many changes in my life and this company has gone above and beyond with help and understanding.... Hats off to maintenance who also go above and beyond... especially Ryan Persand.. he is always friendly and from my experience with Ryan he will go above the regular maintenance if needed.... I remember when joined Avenue Living almost 4 years ago... He is always professional in both work and attitude. It is a breath of fresh air to have someone come to your unit to fix something with a smile, you know he loves his job by his awesome attitude..... When I am lucky enough for him to come and do work I enjoy having someone with the attitude that he has...
A	Aaliyah D'Angelo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I moved into Avenue Living at the start of the renovations, seeing the improvements over the last few weeks have been very pleasing. I really love how the hallways and stairwells are for the most part always kept clean and fresh. The outdoor renovations aren't yet completed but are looking very pleasing and I am excited to use the new seating area. The one thing that I have noticed and appreciated is how quickly they are getting their work done and efficiently. I have no complaints. The neighbourhood is more than peaceful and the residents I've simply said a quick "Hello" to are lovely and friendly. I do very strongly recommed anyone looking to rent, that Avenue Living is affordable and definetly a place to make home! :)
Z	Zahra Jafari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, we live in one of Avenue Living’s buildings in Lethbridge, 20 Berkeley PW. I just would like to warn you that do not come here if you have other choices in the city. The staff is not responsive, and the building and the area are most of the time noisy by AL’s workers. For example, today, Dec 30, 2021, a group of their workers has been here since noon. Now it is 8:20 pm. They are still here and make very loud noises to prepare an apartment ready by tomorrow. We talked to workers, but they didn’t care. Thus, we called the AL’s emergency number. A lady reacted angrily and said that they are allowed to make noises from early morning (7:30 am) to any time to get the work done and hung the phone up. She also said, “do whatever you can, I can not do anything”. It was just an example.
S	Shelbs Vlogs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a viewing and they wouldn’t let my rent because I have a dog with a little bit of German shepherd in him when he is 85 % black lab and Bernese. They canceled my viewing without notice. I’m just trying to get on my feet and sleep since my current rental got broken into while my boyfriend was away. I just wanna bring awareness to there discrimination against my dog and for there rude manor, and how I was talked to after phoning back and asking why my viewing got canceled.

They only care about getting their apartments rented they don’t care about the actual people living there. If you constantly want someone trying to break in, let the air out your tires, get harassed by your neighbourhood, people taunting your support dog, people trying to poison your dog. If you want to be besties with the police then go for it but when you reach out to avenue living the’ll gaslight you and will do absolutely NOTHING to help you. Then when you finally move out because there is NO working with them they will still go ahead and help themselves to your bank account. DO NOT RENT HERE!! They also have multiple law suits in action.
R	Rachid Settas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the start to moving in, the team was fantastic, everyone played their role professionally, for instance, I was given opportunities to check other places, given a lot of consideration to my needs and above their expedient response to any query, was unbelievable. To this date, I have not encounter any major issues, all good , big Thanks to the Team, particularly to Brett.
B	Bob Loblaw on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been living at the flamborough gardens location since April 2021. And I've had nothing but problems. The laundry room gets shut down with no warning for weeks at a time. There were two apartments that had caught fire within a month of eachother. They decided to use that as an excuse to renovate the whole building, which is great in theory, but was done in the worst possible way. I was given a notice saying that work would be completed by mid November, but here we are in March, and nothing has been done since December. One of the reasons I chose my apartment was because of the balcony, which I haven't been able to use since the end of September because of the construction. When I signed the lease, I was informed of a 200 dollar fee if the premise needed to be vacated early, as well as paying back any discounts applied over the course of the lease. I had something come up and I have to leave, but was told that on top of that, there is a hidden clause that the remaining term of the lease must be paid out, PLUS the fees on top of that. So I am currently stuck paying rent at two different places. I have never been so happy to leave a place before. If I could give 0 stars I would. I would not recommend ANYONE to rent from them.
