Definitely cant recommend. Rude people selling wrong materials. Its too many stores in GtA to risk a shopping in this one.

This supplier was recommended by a respected colleague. I called to inquire about a high temperature cable rated 250C. The sales person replied they only have 200C. While I am speaking to explore options, he cut me off. I find it unacceptable for a supplier to not allow a customer to finish a question. Need more training in sales.

Great customer service and knowledge . If they don’t have what you need they’ll direct you to where you can find it. Highly recommend.

I agree with the general consensus. In short: terrible service. They don't seem to care or try to solve the customer needs. I provided my requirements and didn't even bother to be inquisitive - how not to sell 101. He basically said, "that's all I got, take it or leave it"

I visited MESC a few days back a few minutes before their closing time of 5pm. Bought a couple of stock items (not any Special order or cut to size item). Realizing these items were not what I actually wanted, I went in to return same the next day. Was at store around 3pm (not close to 5pm). They told me there shall be a re-stocking fee of 15%. I was surprised that generally restocking fees are for special order or cut to size items but mine was a normal stock item and returned in the same condition as was purchased. Any how when asked if they can waive that, a gentleman, not the one who was dealing with me, said yesterday we let you in after 5pm and served you so you should be thankful and feel obliged. I told him first I came in when the store was open and if it was closed they should not let me in and if they allowed in then why this is an obligation on a customer. Further his tone was very aggressive, provocative and smelled of prejudiced bias. As if he had an agenda and wanted to be physical with me. This really was unexpected and uncalled for. I said it is not worth arguing with him and paid the re-stocking fee and left the store. They all knew I came to their store on day one in the snow travelling 40 km and next day also came same distance. No one appreciated that. On top of this another of his colleague, may be a senior fellow, came out and started blaming me for arguing with him. Terrible atmosphere at the store. I went their to support local vendors instead of a big retailer but it spoiled my whole day and the resolve to support local vendors. I would never ever visit their store again.
