★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could not disagree with Stephan Ball's review more. Essentially if you change his opionion to the POLAR opposite it would accuratlely reflect my feeling's towards this establishment. Huge model selection, fair prices and IMO the correct amount of customer service. Another thing i appreciate is that they never try to up sell .. in fact sometimes the opposite :P
I have some advice for anyone who get's offeneded by the employee's. Step 1.) book the weekend off from your stressful wife and kids. Step 2.) Go buy a tent, sleeping bag and drive up to a remote campsite. Step 3.) Eat some psilocybin mushrooms and thoroughly re-evaluate your life :P

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m new to modelling, I came to this store to look for some glue at the end of last year. It was a nice shop and all, but when I decided to ask for help I was met with two grumpy old men. They were standoffish and kind of rude, at fist I thought it was because I am black and you don’t see very many black people who are into modelling. But now that I see comments from other customers I see that it was probably just cause they are grumpy old men. Either way I will not be coming back here.
Being in the customer service industry and calling a customer ridiculous and a liar in a reply to review is very hostile and not good practice for a business.
The fact is , when I came into to your store “a paying customer “ I did not feel welcomed. Especially when I went to ask about glue and then when I tried to pay. Now again I WASN’T SURE IF IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS BLACK OR NOT I DIDN’T KNOW. But what I do know is that you guys have bad customer service skills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The instant I walked into the store I was blown away by all the model airplane/spaceships hanging from the ceiling. Upon further wandering around the store it brought back alot of childhood memories seeing all the race car sets they have in stock as well as various train sets, made me want to get back into the hobby again. Cool store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went a few days ago and couldn’t be more disappointed. This is truly an ‘old school’ hobby store with lots of product packed in a relatively small space. Prices are on the high side compared to online retailers which is normal and understandable. Although supply is extensive, there’s nothing unique here that can’t be found online, which is again understandable. My main concern is with the poor customer service which is where a real store should excel. The staff were inactive, and borderline hostile when approached. Based on other reviews, maybe it was just a bad day for them. Please pick up your game and I’ll gladly return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for HO, N scale trains, slot Cars and model kits. I shopped there years ago for train and slot car kits and parts but now my grandson is interested in slot cars. Had a great visit with Ray (the pope of slot cars) who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the slot car scene. Needless to say I picked up a few cars but if you want they carry complete kits from basic to digitally controlled hi performance sets.
They also carry train sets and professional grade railroad building supplies. Overall great spot, fair prices and years of experience they share. They stock various model kits and supplies including military vehicles, tanks, aircraft and ships.
It's a tightly packed place and I wouldn't recommend bringing small children as they could easily get into some expensive product.
Highly recommended for those who take these kind of hobbies seriously. Great guys and easy to deal with.
