First off as we walked in there was no one there to greet us. I had to go around looking for someone to talk to. Then after telling him about the brake noise he then tried to sell us some sort of hensive inspection for about a hundred dollars plus which to me is a red flag and to top it off I don't get a feeling of confident when I talk to him so we won't be doing any mechanic work with him. We also needed an oil change so we went next door for it since we are already here. A Chinese gentleman that we dealt with seems very knowledgeable and professional! He didn't tried and sell us things that we know we don't need. We bought the oil change, a new air filter and he recommend us on the transmission fluid service which we knew it was dirty and needed to be done. I was very happy with his service compared to the other guy.

Recently my son and I went back there and there was a new guy working. He was painfully slow and on top of that he seems very rude and angry. Like he doesn't want to be there. We think it is time we take our business elsewhere.

The technician noticed while doing the routine courtesy inspection, a coolant leaks at the front of the engine. They showed me the problem and Christian (the owner) asked me some questions about the previous maintenance I had done. I hate to say but I had not done much except oil changes, tires and a battery on this little car. I ended up having a comprehensive inspection done. I sure am glad I did. I learned that there were a few other issues I needed to take care of at a later date. They explained fully what the issues were from urgency to it can wait and all the prices. I did not feel pushed or pressure because I'm a woman. They schedule the car in for the water pump, timing belt and spark plugs replacement. By the look of the old timing belt that they showed me when I picked up the car after work. It was just about to let go. It run so much better now. I will definitely get more work done from Minute Muffler for sure. I am happy I did it. I love my Civic and I really can't afford to replace it. Most of all I need to feel safe driving around with two kids in the back. The whole experience was wonderful. They courtesy drive me to my work in the morning and pick me up afterward. I even had a thank you note in the mail. I absolutely recommend this shop to anyone. They are hardworking honest people which I find rare now a day in their field of business. Thank you! Then leaves you with a quote for you to review and then continue with service. There were no surprises. Christian and his crew took my tired and cranky 1996 Chevy truck in. It needed brakes, hoses, transmission work, emergency brake cable etc etc. They did an great job and now she purrs like a kitten. 5 STAR RECOMMENDATION

The only positive part of the experience is that the repair appears to be well done and the issue resolved. So why only 2 stars. Don't go here if you are in a hurry. Even though I delivered the vehicle mid morning it was going to take them three days to effect the repair. The day the repair was due I recieved a phone call at 0730 to inform me the part had not arrived. Then the weekend, nothing was done and no further updates were given. I finally called them on Monday and the owner answered. Turns out the part had come but they had ordered the wrong one. Mistakes happen but they had not even started on the job (that would have meant tying up a hoist) so even though the right part did arrive Monday it was afternoon and they didn't even start. In all it was a week for what they quoted as a 4hr job. Now it's time to pay. Throughout the process we had been continually upsold. We declined all but one suggestion and were quoted $1700, taxes in. On that we authorized the repair. We went to settle up, $2600!. Turns out they forgot to delete one of the parts and were going to bill us for both. We had to push hard just to get them to look. Mistakes happen. It also turned out that they had to replace another part but forgot to put it in the quote. Mistakes happen. So we paid for that too. Mistakes happen. We won't be going back there again. To say the experience was disappointing is an understatement. Mistakes happen.

Even with the new engine there has been nothing been issues and even there mechanics looked at it, which I really wonder about. Not happy at all. Stay clear of any cars they try to sell outside the shop!! this car is costing us a fortune and is likely going to the wreckers before it breaks us financially!
