P	Paula Vargas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We happened upon this lovely games and gifts store while strolling on Princess Street. They have games and puzzles from all ages including tactile puzzles for toddlers and more stimulating board games including a lot of the expansions for Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride. They advertise a free game night that happens on Thursdays and Sundays from 5pm to close. The store also had a ton of gift store staples like fun stationary and planners, totes and pencil cases with fun prints and quirky slogans, as well as housewares and accessories. They also had a pretty substantial craft section with a lot of knitting supplies. It was a little bit earlier on in the day so there were a lot of employees milling about setting things up. They left us alone for the most part to browse at our leisure but it was nice to see that it would be easy to get help if we had specific questions.
S	Sonu Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful board game in Hobby Shop most likely the best one in Kingston. The store has all of the popular board games you would need casual and complex. Interior is nice well-lit spacious and has a comfy feel. One of the best parts about this location is that you can try out some of the games in the very back. The staff is also friendly and helpful.
C	Cardan Briar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is honestly ridiculous with their COVID protocols. I've tried to go in on two separate occasions now and have been turned away/given up both times. The government lifted capacity limits, mask mandates and other restrictions but for some reason this store is keeping them. It's like it's still 2020 for them. They have an 8 person capacity limit, a weird sort of barricade at the door and someone "guarding" it allowing people in and out. It's CRINGE worthy. I understand requesting masks if they want their customers to wear them, but keeping a capacity limit and turning people away two years into this is honestly disturbing. I definitely won't be back and many of my Kingston friends (who used to love the place) say it's not worth the hassle to go and have stopped trying. They'll run their own business into the ground with their paranoia and they'll deserve it.

There's a beading section , a knitting section, a sewing section, arts and crafts, plants, books, origami... And much much more. There is superhero items throughout the store. The service here is impeccable. The staff are fun, youthful, and always willing to help. Surprisingly, the prices are quite reasonable and what's really nice is that staff is willing to let you peek inside some of the packages, with their help, to make certain you want it. There are so many vintage games, ideas, concepts here! Even personal seals and wax! If you're looking for a gift for someone who has eclectic taste or for the person who has everything, then this is the place to come. Be careful though, it is quite easy to spend over an hour here without even knowing it. #localguide

I wasn't expecting a call for a few weeks but they got a hold of me today and I'll be coming in to reserve a piece tomorrow! Pretty exciting stuff! Thanks again!

I have always had excellent service in The Town of Kingston, but The staff in This store, is far too preoccupied discussing Movies, and Their life events to even cordially greet a customer. Add to this the passive aggression of One staff Member, it made for a very poor experience. Even Niche stores like this cannot afford to alienate customers. I will not return, nor recommend this store
K	Kait Armstrong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may be my favourite store on princess st! Its got so many novelty gifts, cards, unique games, puzzles, seasonal items, and plants! In addition, it may be the only downtown store that has yarn & fabric for sale, as well as materials for fibre arts like needles and buttons. I visit often to look at the yarn section as there is nothing compared to shopping for yarn by feel, and I avoid big box stores when I can!
