โ โ โ โ โ Awesome place to visit when visiting Vancouver. Bears are in area, sometimes the park has to close the trails because of high bear activity. Bring bear spray just in case one decides to attack you, stay on trails. When i went to this park i saw Black Bears, Sandhill Cranes, Black-headed Grosbeaks, and a sapsucker.

โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely beautiful, especially in the Spring with green colors and in the Fall with orange.
Notice that we saw a bear in the afternoon at the parking lot on May 8th but it didn't eat us :))

All levels of excitement from flats around the ponds to rugged terrain leading to great views of surrounding areas.
Be bear aware and keep to the trails.

โ โ โ โ โ Beautiful trail. Great for sunset. Be advised that there are parts of the trail that have difficult footing and rocky stairs with steep incline. Please take out your trash to ensure this park stays as beautiful as it was today. Feb 2022.

โ โ โ โ โ I absolutely loved this place! I went for a sunrise hike with a few friends and brought bear spray just in case we had ran into any, since we had heard that they are very common. We had hiked the high knoll trail first, and then went down to the lake, and wow, the reflection was breathtaking! Also saw tons of wildlife! Will definitely be coming back in the future!
