★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a walk or bike ride. Even though the trail gets narrow at times, it’s never really crowded. You will see a private property sign off the parking lot but the trail runs parallel to it. Be careful not to step on little creatures beneath you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First thing first Easy parking clean toilets. Trails are extremely beautiful don’t expect too much trees for shades it’s wetland and bushy area good for birding. What else you can see lizards frogs etc Bear sighting has been recorded. Whom you can met so many wonderful people. Say hello but stay apart. What you need to be careful, don’t step on little lifes under your feet. Lots of restless swallows . Hunting hawks and what not. Go open up your lungs fill the air .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As its name suggests, Colony Farm Regional Park is both a farm and a park. It’s a farm because it’s a farm for neighbouring residents who do not have a garden at home to grow vegetables and flowers; it’s a park because all small patches of land divided to the residents are nicely managed and decorated in the beautiful background of mountains and adjacent to a walking trail along a small river. A spacious parking lot and clean washrooms are conveniently located at the entrance. Romantically, picnic tables are scattered around under trees or between farmland. It’s really a wonderful place to visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had engagement photos done here and it was such a beautiful and quiet little park! The gardens are so lovely to look at and there’s plenty of lovely trails to take as well. Definitely a tucked away gem !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous place for a walk in nature. The whole park is filled with beautiful birds and wildlife to observe respectfully and enjoy at a safe distance. Great flat paths for all including bikes. It’s especially gorgeous at sunset on a clear day. The whole place erupts with beautiful golden light as the sun goes down. So find a bench and enjoy the show. There’s something new to enjoy in every season!
