After receiving a quotation of several thousand dollars, a family member suggested we contact MidCity Plumbers Burnaby. Are we ever glad we did! Stephen promptly responded and, after a telephone description of our problem, agreed to address the situation with an on site, let's get to the root of the problem, resolution. The net result; after several hours of hard work, our problem was resolved for a fraction of the cost! Stephen's vast knowledge, years of experience and dedication to fair problem solving, was obvious. We do not hesitate to recommend Stephen and MidCity Plumbers for any job!

The furnace in my home stopped working a couple of days before Christmas, I placed a call to MidCity, explained my situation over the phone, Stephen assured me he could have the heat up and running in no time. Once the inspection was completed, we discovered I needed a new boiler/furnace. Stephen and his team were able to source and install a new system in less than 24 hours. I am so impressed with Stephen and his entire staff, from Danica who was my first point of contact over the phone, Barney and Damian who worked so diligently and efficiently to remove my old system and install the new one in a timely manner and Stephen who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. This was the first time I've contacted Stephens company, I can assure you that this will be the only company I call for all of my plumbing or heating needs in the future. D	David Kloepfer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hired these folks on two separate occasions in the past to replace a water heater and install a heat exchange vent so my pipe wont freeze again, and they were fairly priced, very prompt to reply, and generally great to deal with. Most recently, I got stuck trying to install a dishwasher and called for them to takeover. I ended up having Stephen spend at least a half an hour of his time on the phone with me, talking me through finishing it myself instead, telling what part i needed to get and what to do. This blew me away, very generous and helpful. The tech who installed my water heater and the office staff were all very friendly and professional on the previous occasions as well. Highly recommended.

Stephen is knowledgeable and explains what I can do before I schedule an appointment over the phone. Inevitably, I still needed a professional, so Stephen's crew came for rescue with a same-day appointment. They are running a bit late due to road conditions and unexpected issues at other locations. Both Josie and Stephen was very responsive and let me know of the situation. Once on-site, Frank asked me some questions on what I have already done and the current faucet/pipe situation. Then he explains to me what he will be doing, and with every step/task he is doing, he also takes the extra effort to explain to me for my assurance and only open the walls where the area of concern are. Throughout the whole time, I feel very much respected as sometimes being a woman, you often get looked down on when it comes to home repair. But I did not feel that way at all with Frank. He understood all of my concerns and was very patient in providing me with a very knowledgeable answer to every question. In addition, Frank also did not hesitate to show me what I could do after he left to prevent the pipe from freezing again. All in all, I would definitely recommend MidCity Plumbers.
