★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in a very dier situation and they where already overwhelmed with work but yet they knew the importance of a father and his only vehicle.They squeezed me in and did a 4 hour water pump switch.Which made my life easier, if I had to come up with at least one good and one bad review I just could find a bad one.Great job Rob and your team

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking at getting some brake work done, but really can't afford to dish out alot all at once , so I applied for a midas credit card (denied credit), immediately applied for a Canadian tire Mastercard (approved), I even have a personal loan through Fairstone who approves credit for midas credit cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for somewhwre to go have some work done on my veichle. I was recommended midas. When I went in, I was not approached for over 10 minutes. I do understand places are busy. There was one other gentleman in there at this time who was witness to the whole thing. When I was approached I felt belittled and the man questioned me coming in with an hour to closing.... Before even asking me what I was doing there. He stated he was going to ask the other men in the shop if they had time. Before I even mentioned what I was there for... He walked away saying you should of come in earlier. The other gentleman I.he shop (a customer) asked me what I was looking for, and then told me to go over to Mr lube. Quicker faster service. I left midas and went there instead.

We were on our way on a cross-country tour from Mississauga to Calgary in the middle of January to pick up a puppy. By the time we reached Thunder Bay, the temperature dropped below minus 30 degrees Celsius.
Apparently while topping the windshield washer fluid – the slamming of the lid down snapped the supply line to the sprayers. What were we to do? I drove to the Ford dealer near our hotel. They offered to look at it three days later. They didn’t even have someone free to look at it and identify a part for me to buy – While I could understand they were busy; the result was not very satisfying.
We happened across this Midas shop and one of the worker bees in uniform offered to look at the problem. He came out and looked at it. When he realized our dilemma, he thought he could make a temporary fix. It was still minus 30, but he persevered. The temporary fix was amazing, and more than likely could have passed for a permanent solution.
I’m not going into more detail about the transaction. other than to say a direct thank you to Rob Laurenson who as it turned out to be the owner. It was a trip of a lifetime with many highlights and some low moments. This almost disastrous event provided us a moment we could appreciate the kind gesture of someone who did not need to extend himself. I’m only sorry it took so long to send the note but lost the card in my car and found it today. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In August of 2020 during the panadamic, I happened to breakdown during a cross country road trip due to a faulty brakeline. My GMC Sierra also had my handmade camper on its bed and thankfully they managed to get it up on the ramps. The team at Midas was fanatastic and got me straight in and sorted in record time! I was so grateful to everyone for being able to keep me moving during the pandemic. Wishing you all a safe and happy 2022.
