★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most incredible selection of fly tying material I have ever seen. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that can help you out with whatever fly fishing questions you. Ive been fishing for almost 10 years, I live in the lowermainland, but I only discovered this shop in the last year. Done are the days i visit bass or cabelas. If you partake in fly tying, fly fishing, or any sort of trout fishing, this has to be a place to check out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best shop for all things fly fishing, in the lower mainland. The staff are extremely well versed and accomplished fly anglers themselves. Over the years I notice they become like family to many customers, and vice-versa. If you can think of it, they probably do have it. I have purchased all sorts of fly fishing items and materials and they always came through with great customer support and service. The customer always comes first at this place. If you are a fly fisherman and haven't been....go! And definitely come to their annual Spey Clave if you are into two hand fly rods. I even bought a boat there. I even went on an amazing tropical fly fishing trip with them, Top marks, guys!

Recently purchased a Watermaster and I made the mistake of not checking the model, Tim went several extra miles to help me get the one I was looking for. I will definitely be shopping at M&Y going forward based on this experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Michael and Young is FANTASTIC!!! The customer service is great and their supplies are well stocked. The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Catherine helped me get set up for my first fly fishing trip and gave me some great pointers as well, she is the best! I also booked private casting lessons with Dave and he is very experienced and great at explaining things. I highly recommend Michael and Young to all fly fishers!
