Michael Homes Inc. was named after our owner & founder Michael Thibert, who has been in the custom home building business for over three decades. We are family run, with Michael’s son Paul managing the day-to-day operations. I was fortunate too work on their homes during the Ft Mac rebuild. Since then in Edmonton as well. Meticulously built. Exceptional attention too detail. No corners cut ever. Working with them AND on their homes is always a rare pleasure knowing that the bar is being raised. They attract higher quality trades people simply due too their higher standards themselves. Frankly, they're really nice down to earth people too !

From start to finish Michael and his team were simply amazing; we are impressed with the attention to even the tiniest detail and we always felt included in the project and decisions along the way. We did a fairly large kitchen renovation including a complete demolition and rebuild. What a strong team, with an even stronger leader with Michael at the helm, we could not not be happier. If anyone is interviewing contractors - do yourself a favour and speak to Michael, you will be grateful that you did. The quality and workmanship, friendliness and professionalism cannot be beat. We are so in love with our new kitchen!

When we signed on with him to do our garden suite, I didn't realize how much of the work he'd actually be physically doing himself - but he is really in there doing so much of it, and whatever he doesn't do himself, he supervises carefully to make sure it's done exactly right. He takes so much time and care with EVERY little detail--from the initial plan and timeline to the framing and structure to the smallest tile or fixture. He was available day or night to us for any question, concern, or request that we had. It's not a cookie cutter build - it's a labor of love. We had such a specific vision for the suite, and he made every dream we could have had come true. I have NEVER seen this kind of quality in any other builds, and for such a reasonable price compared to other builders (?!) - it's incredible. He only contracts with people who similarly care about quality, so every single person who worked on our suite was meticulous and passionate about their work; every single person who step foot on our work site or into our house was knowledgable, helpful, and kind - and that's 100% because of who Michael is and whom he chooses to work with. I could honestly go on and on, but in short - there is no better builder to work with in Edmonton, and we are so grateful to have the garden suite of our dreams.
