★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourite place to go in town! I’m always looking for renowned places similar to spaces downtown and this one sure is a hidden gem. The food and coffee is exceptionally delicious with fantastic menu options (this type of menu is usually hard to find in a suburban town).

Food is always on point and I got to meet Heather who is the talent behind the amazing food there!! She puts love and soul into everything she makes.. all from scratch.. and you can tell with each bite!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Metropolis is a nice cafe in Newmarket to sit back and relax with a latte or a cup of coffee. It is one of my favourite spots to swing by and get some work done with the cafe's smooth and quiet ambiance.
The lineup of pastries are quite tasty and you can't go wrong with any of them. They have options for those seeking gluten-free pastries which is an added bonus.
Can't say enough that I wish they were in Scarborough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool concept, it's a cafe/store. They sell books, clothing, accessories and household goods. The iced coffees are tasty and the hummus dish is delicious. There is a patio where they sell ice cream and have live music. Really relaxing place. This is a good place to hang out and chill, study or plan trips!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love it here! The food and atmosphere is AMAZING! The staff are so friendly and everyone there is very nice. Wait times are reasonable for such good food. The patio in the summer is very nice, and eating inside is a great atmosphere as well. The sandwiches and drinks are all amazing you can't go wrong for a cozy spot in Newmarket! Would HIGHLY suggest this place! My only complaint is the high menu prices but it is still worth it for the quality and service you receive!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LOVE this cozy spot! My daughter and I visit weekly and love the atmosphere and people! Heather is AMAZING in the kitchen! Everything that comes out of there tastes soooo good! Whether it's summer on the patio listening to jazz, or winter enjoying the inside, this café is exactly what the town needed. Can't say enough of how wonderful this place is. Forever customer!!
