★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are extremely pleased with the excellent and professional service from Merry Maids Ottawa East. They take great care to ensure our schedules meet, and reach out to keep us updated of arrival and departure of our cleaner.
The products they use do not leave a residue and are chemical free.
I love coming home to a sparkling clean and immaculate home (trust me I did not leave it that way).
The care and attention to the large and small details are evident. The workers are pleasant, task focused and efficient.
I am so pleased we selected Merry Maids! Thank you for your great service!!

We had a unique situation that required a pre-clean assessment and it was done promptly and professionally by a top-notch team to help us settle into our home. I love the alerts and customer service that come with the service to let us know they are on their way to get started. We were kept informed and the team that came was phenomenal. I highly recommend Merry Maids and their team members Carole, Marisa and Madison for cleaning. They do great work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If they're sending you Chelsea. CANCEL NOW! It will be like Chelsea was never there. Just because I do not live at the residence does not mean I deserved to be ripped off.
To add to that they will quote you one price, then automatically overcharge your credit card more than that price without warning. Asked them about this and they finally send the overpriced bill.
They quoted their service agreement as the reason for no refund and a lot of the unprofessional stuff they did. They did not offer to fix it.
The best part is THEY didn't even adhere to the service agreement; The cleaner never did a walk through inspection with the current tenant. It's like they showed up looked around and left to go to a friends place while getting paid for the hours they were supposed to be cleaning. Maybe they lounged around because they thought no one was home... I dunno. Oh the one thing they did do was spray the already sparkling clean oven with toxic chemicals so that next time it was used it went airborne and poisoned the entire house. Brilliant.
JUST AWFUL. If you want to set your money on fire. Be my guest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to splurge on a deep clean as a gift to ourselves for Mother's Day. Terrible value for price paid. Paid for four hours of cleaning at $300+ price tag. Completed superficial clean of one of two bathrooms, partially cleaned floors, did not dust above eye level, did not clean windows...and the list goes on. When concerns were raised they informed me my expectations were too high and that I refused to pay for extra time to complete job. We were not willing to dish out another $140 to have them poorly clean remaining areas of our home. At the rate cleaner was working, would have taken 12 hours to do a sub par job cleaning our 3 bedroom semi detached home that was already well maintained. Work completed was less than we accomplish in an hour on a Sunday afternoon. They did offer to have someone come in to touch up areas that were not done well but not to complete the job. We did refuse this offer as it was not worth hassle of having them return. I'd suggest avoiding this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been using Merry Maids of Ottawa now for the past ten years and they are the best cleaning company in Ottawa. I have tried other ones in the past and they don't compare with Merry Maids of Ottawa. Their staff are very professional when they come in and do their cleaning with a lot of attention to details. Prices are up everywhere now but I don't need to go buy cleaning products or worry about getting the vacuum fixed if it breaks down.During COVID the owner even called me to do a wellness check since she knew I live alone. I appreciate that they go out of their way for their clients.
