★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried twice to set up a business account here (I have personal accounts with Meridian) and couldn’t get things accomplished. Wasted time with appointments etc only to be disappointed. Time to look for a Bank that’ll want my business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the end of last year a mortgage specialist from Meridian Credit Union was most helpful in arrenging our mortgage at a very good rate. She put a great deal of effort and time to help us up. My wife and I are forever grateful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am going to have to give this bank a 2 and 5 star rating, 2 is for the Yonge st. Barrie location which gives advice only, this is very poor customer service and I have to travel miles out of my way to get proper banking services, I have requested that they go back to regular service but no change in service yet, otherwise at the other branch full service with no problems, they get a five star rating. If at such time the Yonge st. location goes back to full customer services, I will change their rating probably back to 5 star. I thought banking was all supposed to be about customer service, I guess I was wrong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zero stars. Horrible horrible. Would not take the legal document of power of attorney for my father. Weeks have gone by. Back and forth with our lawyer...this is a nightmare. Just trying to close my father's account. So much time and energy wasted. So many hoops to jump through when my mother and I have the legal POA document with the lawyers seal. Stay away. Staff rude, do not answer the phone, rarely respond to emails. The manager just hung up on me. Unbelievable this place stays in business.
