Came in to apply for a scene visa with my son and needed to correct some paperwork didn’t have an appointment but the branch manager Darren was very helpful. Took my son in and got the paperwork sorted out. Still need to come back for the visa app but am very happy with the service we received today

I say the staff are what makes this bank. They are extra friendly and always helpful. And in this case . Being friendly or understanding if you have a problems is so important. Staff are there to help and with proper explanation of your problem helps a great deal when trying to solve a problem. And the staff dont make the rules they are only paid to follow them. And yes i feel like all banks can charge and charge look around so is everyone else.

I made a phone appointment with a financial advisor to open a new account, she did not have the decency to call me at our scheduled appointment time, or at all for that matter although we were in contact a half an hour before the appointment via email. I will not be opening an account at this bank as a result!

Worst customer service. Customer time not important and cold attitude including branch manager. Customer service confirm meeting over email and never called. Went to CIBC they went an extra mile for satisfying all my requirements. Thinking of moving all my accounts to CIBC. If the bank does not care for its customers, I am not interested in doing business with such a bank. Will never recommend this bank to anyone from now on.

Spare yourself the inconvenience of dealing with this branch. They completely ignore Inquires way beyond their service commitment. It took months to process a case where I was a named beneficiary on an account when I was told it would take 5-10 business days. I’m a patient person and realize things happen. However, this is completely unacceptable. At the very least the common courtesy of a call back to provide a status update would have been appreciated. Unfortunately I had no option but to deal with them but if you do, please choose another branch.

The branch is great, but this company is for the birds. Worst service in the industry with no attempt to improve. Actually, policy changes over the last 5 to 10 years have made things steadily worse. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with a call centre trying to book an appointment at the branch. Should have been a 5 minute call to the branch. And they close at 4pm Monday-Friday and wonder why it’s so hard to schedule appointments on Saturdays. It’s a real stumper, let me tell you. Online and self serve is fine, but there has to be some level of customer service and respect for clients when needed.

We went to this bank on a Sunday afternoon, and the doors were locked? What kind of bank is closed but without access to the ATM machines in the front? Because of this we decided to try the Drive-Thru but oddly the machine there was out of service when we inserted our card. Did the homeless people who constantly seek shelter in the front made you decide to lock your doors? Mind as well not have the branch there if this is the kind of access we get on a Sunday.

TERRIBLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE. Stay away!!! My elderly parents who just moved here within the last 8 months had 2 bills and their PROPERTY TAXES misapplied to completely WRONG ACCOUNTS!!! Both times my parents went in to try and rectify, they were brushed off with lukewarm service and promises of correcting their irresponsible mistakes. Well almost a month later my parents property taxes still appears to be in arrears with the city and absolutely nothing had been done to rectify the situation. My elderly parents were even to just call the city themselves to tell them that the bank made a mistake and to properly apply the payment to their property roll #. I am outraged! Absolutely disgusted with this bank. Elderly folk who cannot operate online banking rely on going in to the bank to get their day to day done. And now to think that they have to triple check THE BANKS work to be sure they are doing their job. You can’t read numbers correctly, you most definitely do not deserve a job at a bank. Am I right??
