I own a used appliance business in Victoria B.C. and needed a good lightweight pair of safety shoes and preferably leather for my work. I say preferably leather as there are so many offshore brands that are actually pleather or some vinyl , poorly made ones out there. I searched all over through many safety supply outfits, work wear stores , Canadian Tire, Walmart and was very disappointed in the quality and fit. Most were overpriced and almost all were made with substandard materials. I came across these Mellow walk shoes hidden on a shelf at Mark's Work Warehouse , in fact buried under an assortment of their Dakota line. I must have tried 7 different pairs on before I found these Mellow walks . All of the previous 7 were heavy, had a terrible fit and bulky styling and downright ugly in design. I tried on a pair of these Mellow walks and the difference was like night and day. Lightweight , comfortable, all leather, fit like a glove and best of all ..... MADE IN CANADA !! And the price was worth every penny. I started with a lace up safety shoe that I walked to work in daily for at least a year with no sign of wear. Even the sole didn't even look worn. I was so impressed I bought a slip on model which I now wear daily. These shoes are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned which I wasn't expecting but they are called exactly what they should be a Mellow Walk. I have since bought a more casual looking, soccer like shoe they offer and use them when I walk downtown on the weekends and now just ordered their slip on boots. If you are looking for a terrific safety shoe or boot you owe it to yourself to invest in these ones. And I mean invest because I have all 3 pairs in use all the time and the quality is unbelievable. I do polish them, clean and look after them but they show no sign of wear even after lifting and hauling appliances for a living. Best footwear investment I ever made. And they are MADE IN CANADA !! Best Work Shoes Ever. Work long shifts walking on concrete and metal docks with ragged cement steps. The daisy style is unique, the insoles are soft like marshmallows and the steel toes and stitching last intense wear and tear. Mellow Walk has those Canadian made touches and finishes that contribute to the longevity and integrity of my safety shoes. I also appreciated the black maple leaf with chain that came with my shoes. I have put thousands of kilometers and hours into my Mellows, with a few change up of the insoles. Soles and legs ache less too. Anyway, for now and forever with my work feet in my mellows.

I purchased a pair of your Maddy safety boots on the recommendation of a coworker. Comfortable from day 1, no breaking in needed. The price point was excellent. Much easier to be on my feet for long periods of time with these rather than a standard safety boot. Will definitely be another pair in my future.

I purchased a pair of mellow walk dress safety shoes. I work in retail and the shoes only go outside to and from the car. After owning them 7-8 months the soles started separating from the both shoes. I went back to where I purchased them and they only warranty what they sell for 6 months, they said try Mellow Walk so I did. They said they were out of warranty as well, but if I took them to a shoe maker they would pay to have them fixed. I paid almost 200 dollars for a pair of shoes that did not last a year and the company would not even stand behind their own workmanship and wanted me to have them fixed. You think you are spending extra for a quality product but in the end it was just a waste of hard earned money. I don’t recommend buying them as they do not last

Purchased for son who works part time construction. Really impressive build quality, boot stands up to a lot of abuse. My son appreciates that the boots are light, comfortable and stylish. Not a traditional looking safety shoe!

Buyer Beware! I suppose this is my mistake for not researching & reading the reviews on these boots before purchasing them in store. Disappointed is an understatement. Within a few short months both handles/tabs on these boots tore right off, making it difficult to get these "Slip on boots" to slip on. Like many others, after contacting Kate at customer service, I was told it was out of their 6 month warranty time - Please note, they do not care if the photos of the broken boots were taken within the six months, but seeing as you contact them shortly after the six months - that calls for not qualifying for warranty. The company offered to have me mail the boots back to them to sew on new straps but at this point after a few more months of wear the front of the boot has worn down right to the steel ! I paid $159.99 Plus tax for these and I am so mad that I didn't just spend an extra $100 to purchase Blundstones. DO NOT purchase work boots from this company unless you plan to have them for only a few short months. Very disappointed in a Canadian Company.

I ordered both the Jessica shoes and Maddy Boots in brown for work, and i couldn't be happier. From the sizing chart to the customer service it was overall an amazing experience and I love that they are Canadian made. I was pleasantly surprised that I never had much of a break in period either, they've been so comfortable from the start. I'll be ordering from this company again in the future.

Great experience with these shoes from a local shoe store. My first pair was 3 years ago that lasted longer than any other steel tow shoe style I've had before. Daily use of walking, standing, concrete, snow and mud. I have decided to put the originals to rest and get the exact same shoe again. Night and day difference since I over wore the originals. Great sidewall firmness, looking forward to more use and abuse. A shoe I can trust to do anything in.
