Do not book any venues with catertrendz. I have booked a wedding at the YORK MILLS GALLERY last year and due to covid had to reschedule to this year. Unfortunately the restrictions still have not lifted so i asked for a cancellation but not only are they withholding my deposit when asked to cancel, they are threatening to take me to small court claims to get the full amount of a wedding that never happened! I would expect a company that big would be able to sympathize with the current situation people are going through and instead they are asking for something so ridiculous it should be illegal. I am currently in contact with my lawyer to figure out a way so these scammers cant take advantage of average folks like us.

We had our wedding at YMG a month ago and everyone is still raving about how beautiful the hall was, how kind and courteous all the staff were and how the food was perfect! Rosa, Frances, Isaac and all the staff were absolutely phenomenal during the planning process and on our wedding day. From our first meeting Isaac was honest, helpful and knew exactly what we were looking for, we already knew we were in good hands. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The staff were so attentive to us and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The food was always hot and absolutely perfect, our families could not stop raving about the antipasto bar and seafood buffet. We were even surprised with a special dessert that tied in with our theme. Catherine and I cannot thank you all enough! You all truly went above and beyond. We cannot wait to celebrate many other milestones in our lives with the Catertrendz team.

We got countless compliments on the food and many of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding food they have had. Thank you again for helping to make our wedding day go so well.

Catertrendz catered our wedding and we could not be more pleased. From the first planning meeting with Frances I felt that he knew exactly what we needed to make our wedding stand out from all the other beef or chicken events that we have all attended. The cocktail hour appetizers were enjoyed by all and the main courses was met with rave reviews with respect to the taste and the quantity. Our guest told us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Kudos also go to the staff who were accommodating and efficient in their delivery and we were honoured to have the executive chef attend. Give this group a chance and I don't think you will be disappointed.

Would highly recommend to use Catertrendz for your next wedding. The food tasted amazing, really high quality staffing\service and the whole process was hassle free and they are really easy to talk to and deal with. Would use them again 100%. Thank you Victoria!

Original sat October 2020, rescheduled due to pandemic. We asked to reschedule in advance in the summer because it was obvious what the situation would be. They told us they were only rescheduling summer dates right now and since our original date could technically still happen they told us we'd have to take a Friday or Sunday in 2021. We agreed and they also asked for more money which was not in the contract. Not once did they reach out during the pandemic to see how my wife and I were doing. They didn't even bother to let us know our point of contact was no longer there and that my calls/voicemails and emails therefore weren't even being heard or read. The only time they reached out was a reminder for a payment missed by couple of days for the additional deposit. Called again to reschedule the new date which was April 2021 in January, they said they were not rescheduling April dates yet as again the situation could change (though it was obvious our 300 number would not be possible). Waited and waited and again no calls. 30 days out from the date I had to call again and initiate conversations, the same day the new restrictions were put in place on indoor dining which meant our event was definitely not going to happen. We wanted to reschedule again and now simply asked for a Saturday because that was our original day. They said they could not do that, they were unwilling to provide which dates were available, even though they have the bookings in front of them and not us. We asked from October 2022, they said we don't book that far except for the fact that anyone of the street as a new client could book that far. The second date passed and we did not agree on a third, they told us if we wanted to cancel we'd have to pay an additional 15k, for what? We don't have a new date? You haven't provided any service, I've done all the work on communication. They wanted to double dip instead of taking care of their existing clients. No contact since last summer, they have not attempted to reach out as we do not have a new date which shows they are just happy to take the 8k we paid in deposits, provided 0 service and keep it and then sell dates to new people. They don't actually care about you.

Myself and my husband got married this past Oct at York Mills Gallery and we had the pleasure of working with CaterTrendz as our catering company. We worked with Allison the caterer manager and she is just amazing! The food was that of a 5 star restaurant and all of our guests could not stop raving. I suffer from Celiac Disease (Severe Gluten Allergy), so eating out anywhere is very challenging and worrisome. CaterTrendz were so accommodating and made sure I was able to enjoy everything on my big day, this meant so much to me. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of working with Chef Andy yesterday at one of our clients’ weddings. The food was phenomenal, presentation was superb but what impressed us the most is the level of care he put into the meal and service. He was always communicating with us to ensure proper service times and event with the guests to ensure a positive experience. He’s a true professional who has a clear passion for what he does.
