About Melange Salon + Spa
Edmonton born and a hairstylist for more that 25 years, Juli knew she wanted to do hair from a young age. Her dream was to become a stylist, move to the West Coast to work at a popular hair salon on Betty Street in downtown Vancouver which was owned by a family friend. After graduating cosmetology school from M.E. Lazerte and earning her license she did just that and lived in Vancouver for seven years!

After which, Juli trained to become a Home Staging and Redesign Consultant in Toronto, where she stayed for three years. Returning to Edmonton at age 30, she started her family and resumed her hairstyling career. She's also recently tried her hand at bridal styling and home redesign.

Juli enjoys reading, self development, continuing education, gardening, hiking, home redesign, and most of all being a mom to her nine year old daughter.

โ โ โ โ โ It was my first visit to salon, i did highlights on my hair and really impressed with outcome. Elizabeth helped me with her experience to pick the perfect colour for highlights on my hair. She did her job pretty well. She is quite friendly and kind. The ambience in salon was so cheerful which is liked the most. I spent 4 hours so not at all felt like bore or odd.

โ โ โ โ โ The lady that did my hair was nice but unfortunately I went into the salon with an idea of what I wanted for my hair and came out looking completely different than I had initially requested. Although you get what you paid for! I highly suggest you get your cut/colour done by a higher level stylist for best results! I wanted my hair lightened (to a light brown) as I already had dark brown hair and left with hair even DARKER than what I had to begin with.. now I wonโt be able to lighten my hair the way I wanted for a few months and I was really looking forward to a new look.. I was very upset to say the least and wonโt be returning again unless itโs with a senior stylist.

โ โ โ โ โ Sarah is fantastic! My daughter is 12 and has thick, wavy hair and Sarah gave her a haircut that was both stylish and skillful. My daughter was nervous about going to a new salon but Sarah immediately put her at ease and thoroughly enjoyed herself. The receptionists at the salon were also kind and very thorough in their work and, overall, I would have to say that our visit to Melange was one of the best we have ever had at any salon in Edmonton. I highly recommend Sarah as well as the salon!
