C	Christine Boyes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right outside of Val de Bois we had a shifting failure in our car. We used google search to locate a mechanic and found Méchanique D S. We called them right away and they told us to come by the shop and even recommended a flatbed driver, who they knew and trusted, to come pick us up. The flatbed driver was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. These mechanics were welcoming and helpful. They explained everything they were doing and helped us understand the problem. It didn’t take them long to identify the issue with the car. It ended up being an issue where a reese pin had popped out of the transmission control module. They took their time assessing the car and making sure it was safe for us to drive home. We would highly recommend these mechanics. They really helped us out of a tough spot!

We found these guys on google and they recommended a flatbed driver who was also very friendly to come pick us up. These guys were very friendly and explained everything they were trying and what they thought the problem was. They offered us water on a hot day, and stayed open later than normal to keep working on our car. It ended up being a very bizarre issue where a reese pin had popped out of the transmission control module! They not only diagnosed the problem quickly, but we’re able to get the module working again. The bulk of the time spent working on the car was actually looking for the pin, but ultimately they decided the car was safe to drive back. These guys really saved us! If you find yourself working with them rest assured you are in good hands. These expert mechanics were able to diagnose and repair a very rare and peculiar issue they’d never seen before quite quickly and got the job done.

We put the spare on but being 135km from home didn't want to travel all that way on the donut, we called Jacob and he told us to come in, he could help us right away. Unfortunately the sidewall was torn and unfixable. Double unfortunate, the tire size I have is uncommon. Jacob put the car up on his lift and switched the donut onto the rear for us to provide us a safer ride into Gatineau. The Pride this young man shows for his trade and families buisness is Obvious.
