C	C H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Welcome home! My friend and I just returned from a 2day stay at this beautiful property hosted by Petra and Tom. What a wonderful stay!! The accommodations were perfect, the breakfasts were a delight and Petra is a wealth of information when it comes to where to go and what to do. We went for beautiful hikes, toured around and ended our day sitting by the lake with a tasty creamy drink chatting about our day! You will not be disappointed and it really does feel like home. Thanks to both Petra and “our server” Tom who’s talent as an experienced builder is amazing!! ???

Their home was spotless and so inviting. I could have sat by the living room window all day watching all the birds. The weather was cool so their gazebo was inviting with its windows to protect us from the wind. Petra made sure we had a great breakfast. They have a million dollar view and the name of the B and B describes it perfectly. We will happily go back. Thanks Petra and Tom. Cathy and Ken

I have stayed in many places in the world during my travels and this stay was one of the best and likely with the best view. Petra and Tom were very hospitable and made an amazing heart warming breakfast that rounded off our stay with a cherry on top! I thank them for the warm welcome and being great hosts. I will go back home to Toronto and tell everyone how amazing this experience was and recommend anyone that visits Manitoulin Island to stay with them. I highly recommend this place!

I can honestly say this is one of the best bed and breakfast experiences we have had. The peace and quiet, in a beautiful setting, and the hospitality of Tom and Petra added a great deal to our holiday. The are also a gold mine of information about things to do and things to see on the island.

Petra snd Tom are great hosts and they did everything you could think of to make our stay comfortable. Enjoying the home cooked breakfast with a breathtaking view while watching beautiful birds was a priceless experience. We have traveled to so many places and haven’t experienced any stay wonderful as Petra’s and Tom’s place. Nalika(Toronto)
A	Alina Gildiner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I spent two nights at Serenity on the Water, and only wish it could have been longer. First of all, the setting is gorgeous. You pull off the highway and onto a sideroad sloping gently down to the water. The grounds, right at the water's edge, are lovingly maintained, with open spaces and beautiful flower beds, none of which feels overly manicured. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, everything clean and homey. And our hosts could not have been kinder. Petra made delicious, plentiful hot breakfasts each morning. We enjoyed talking with her and Tom, but it was clear that they engaged with us because we wanted them to, and would have hung back had that been what we signalled we wanted. Manitoulin Island is a great place to explore and Serenity on the Water is the perfect home base to do it. We will look forward to going back one day, and we send many warm wishes to Petra and Tom.
J	Jodi Vandenbraak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here as a couple on August 11 for a 2 night stay. We had the room overlooking the water with its own private balcony. This property was beautiful! The big windows and open yard gave the best views of the lake. Petra and Tom are the most welcoming hosts.. they are very nice people and make sure their guests are well looked after! Their prices are very reasonable even offering a 2 bedroom suite to enjoy at a reasonable price ! Very close to little current only 10 minutes away with different options for dining that Petra and Tom recommended (Elliotts is a must try). In the evenings before the sun sets the winds are always calm and makes for great relaxation. Petra and Tom put a lot of effort in making delicious breakfast in the morning with trying new recipes and switching it up everyday to keep breakfast interesting and the view of the birds during breakfast is a bonus. Serenity on the water is the best bed and breakfast on the island and is a must stay!! We hope to be back next year for a another visit.

From the second we walked in we were treated like family and felt right at home. The accommodations were absolutely spotless and breakfast in the morning was excellent. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. There aren't enough words to explain how nice the owners are and how comfortable they make you feel while you are there. Thank you Petra and Tom, and we cannot wait to see you again soon.
