★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been twice since things have open up and renewed our membership. We wanted to get there before the Sobeys exhibition closed. Truly a remarkable collection of Canadian art.
The McMichael grounds are very large and beautiful for hiking or communing with nature.
They have a restaurant as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A comprehensive permanent collection of the renowned Group of 7, insightful temporary exhibitions presenting emerging artists and bringing new views of modern collections are running as well (can be visited with the same ticket). All presented in a neat curatorial setting and within a great architectural interior space. The space outside of the museum is very large and includes trails, nice landscape for walks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to spend a day on the weekend. The museum houses an impressive selection of art by Canadian artists. It is housed in a beautiful log cabin on a large, wooded estate. The galleries are spread over two floors. When we visited, they had the private collection of the Sobey family on exhibit. We booked tickets online but there was no one in the queue when we arrived so it did not seem necessary to pre-book tickets. The museum has a restaurant which was fairly busy when we arrived at 1:15pm on a Saturday. Outside the museum building, there are a number of modern sculptures as well as a cemetery for a number of the artists. Parking costs $7. Kleinburg's main street is a short 7 minute walk from the museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! I usually go with my kids for a walk in trails, very nice specially in summer and fall. And I have visited the gallery, very nice collection of arts, really enjoyed it! They also have nice cafe to drop by and get your coffee/desserts. Recommended for everyone

I connect with the group of sevens paintings. The way this gallery is set up is perfect to get into the minds of the artists and admire these nature works of art.
The building it's self is beautiful. Inside and out. Quiet nooks to sit and look into the forest between galleries after observing these artist's paintings. A perfect gallery for these artists to be appreciated for what they loved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit to see the artistic gallery.Nestled in the Humber River valley, this gallery with huge windows will give you nature's healing touch.And the Painting by the group of seven is worth a view. All paintings/sketches are excellent but particularly a few needs you to view and appreciate them for their exclusive artistic beauty.
Entry fee: $18 - GET IT ONLINE to avoid disappointment on unavailability.
Parking: Available.Flat rate of $7
A cafe is available in the gallery for lunch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to visit with many things to do, including walk the beautiful trails connecting to the museum grounds. If you love art and artistic works, this is the place to go! The museum itself is worth seeing, with wonderful classic collections of paintings, sketches, and sculptures from the Group of 7 artists, as well as some contemporary Canadian artists that made their debut in recent years.
