I’ve been here a few times over the years and it is a great conservation area for easy hikes with the family. They have various activities throughout the year. The maple syrup festival is one of my favourite. It’s very educational and the kids love tasting the maple syrup. It’s a big shame that the old cabin with the cauldrons where they demonstrate the how they burn off the water to get the maple syrup had burnt down.

This place has many trails you can walk and enjoy with friends and family. So peaceful. You can also do BBQ on the premises and has a children's playground. Will sure be back for more.

Came hear for the maple syrup festival with the kids. Nice walk around the area with the kids to learn how to make maple syrup. 5$ parking. A cool way to spend the day. Restaurant line up was long and slow. Prices are reasonable but you won’t get 5 star restaurant food served on a porcelain plate with silverware. Pancakes have a generic from a box vibe. One section of the walking path is steep and a bit challenging to go up with a stroller and baby, while doable it does get your legs and lungs burning at the end. Most of the path is stroller friendly though. The interactive syrup making sessions are informative and staff are enthusiastic and helpful. If you become a member of the conservation area (~135$ for a family membership I recall), it is cheaper.

Beautiful grounds for hiking and spending a couple hours with friends and family. The solar panel garden and bee sanctuary are particularly cool. The washrooms are clean and staff are friendly. Trails of all different distances. Ample parking.

Kortright has so much to offer anytime of year. We had a chance to hike through Forestry Trail which offers a beautiful lookout and wooden boardwalk. We love checking out the rescued birds of prey at the Canadian Peregrine Foundation. The wetland trail is exciting even in late fall with the partially frozen pond. There are washrooms available in the visitor's centre which is a good thing to know.

A piece of beautiful forested nature so close to the city. Lovely visitor centre with food and gift shop, great family friendly trail through the forest. The trees are amazing. We went for the maple syrup festival and it was informative, interesting, and respectful of First Nations history and land acknowledgment.

We have celebrated our kid’s birthday here. It was so good! Kids were entertained for 2 hours with lots of active games, animal display and fire with marshmallows. Personal thank you to Myles for making the party so much fun! Food was a bit expensive, but delicious and worry free.
