★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lady at another park recommended this free park. She was right when she said the parking lot would be full- people were waiting for our spot when we were trying to leave.
The park seems nice, but I wouldn't go as far to say it is a place for hiking. There is one main trail I think, and then you have to walk up a great big hill to get back to your car.
The park is closed for the season but there is a parking lot before the locked gates for the public to use. I assume when they open we would be able to get a trail map and use the outdoor washrooms.
Many picnic sites, would be a great place to have a family BBQ. We will definitely come back in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful gem hidden inside this urban area! This park is pretty huge with tons of space for those who like to jog, picnic, walk their dogs, or just enjoy a little bit of nature. There's a pretty long hiking trail as well for those who enjoy those activities. There is decent parking although I have not gone on a particularly busy day.
The only qualm I have concerns the conditions of the roads. If you are driving, be wary of the many potholes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parked at the boyd north parking lot, went under the bridge to south. Went along the west side of the trail and reached the boyd pine trail. Then returned along the east side of the trail. It was about 5km. Very nice walking, the weather was nice too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice park. Lots of parking. Was there to attend a Mazda Meet. Green space very relaxing and big old trees provided lots of shade. Lots of picnic tables. Great outdoor place to have a family and/or friends gathering. Washrooms need to be better maintained though, smelled really bad. And lots of potholes on some of the roads. Should be better maintained especially since there's an entry fee per person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t be fooled by it’s modest park entrance, but rather a haven for trail running, hiking & cycling with footpaths, hills & winding roads. With the backdrop of lush greenery, forest & streams, it provides an option for all. As a runner, the remoteness & vastness of the park is the ultimate appeal. Although limited in seasonal operations, there is access to the park ( walk in) with very limited & free parking. Be prepared to walk an extensive distance into park as no entrance for cars off season. The walk is stunning with rolling hills & roadways.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park for a picnic and BBQ with family and friends. There are alot of picnic tables available all around the park, and quiet a few picnic shelters available to book for large gatherings. The tall trees provide good shade for the picnic spots. It's a perfect destination for day camping with huge green open fields but not for overnight camping. There are no camp sites at this park and it's only suitable for a day visit. There is an enterance fee for non members and has a lot of available parking space inside the park. The gates close at 7:00PM. Overall a great place for full day outing with family.
