I bought 2 meals and drank 4 beer over a course of 3 hrs then was cut off for no reason.Her freonds next to me ate nothing and drank more than 6 beers each and were fine according to her. I have never been treated this way since I was a teen which was 50 some odd years ago. This is obviously a case of who you know... not what you did. I was so embarassed.
H	Herb Terry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I enjoyed our visit to McGillicafey's, in Hastings. We were seated in a very comfortable booth, overlooking the river. Our Waitress was very helpful in explaining the difference in the various beers, that were on tap. There was a wide variety of menu choices and we decided to order the Rueben and Messy Pig sandwiches. We chose Sweet Potatoe Fries and a Greek Salad, for our Sides. Everything was delicious; so we will definitely visit this Pub, again.

K	Kristy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm incredibly greatful to the staff at this location. Today we had a large amount of family in from out of town for a funeral. A difficult time to begin with. In the throw of things and busy day we had not stopped to think of what to eat. Last minute I called McGillicafey's and they were very busy but after I briefly explained they found a way to fit us in to eat before the visitation. 8 of us arrived there, table was ready and staff incredibly friendly and prompt. I felt that they were attentive and made sure we were ordered and taken care of at all times, bringing an extra pitcher of water and making sure everyone was enjoying their mea The bill was never forced on me but she did quietly acknowledge I had to be out and at the home by 7pm so asked if I would like bill now. This entire interaction made a rather difficult time a bit easier to manage. These smaller things add up to huge things and mean a lot. My family is very appreciative of this service. We had come throughout the yrs on other occasions as my grandparents were longstanding community members and enjoyed eating here. I will certainly make sure to let others know and we look forward to eating here again whenever we are passing through this wonderful town. Thank you again

Very friendly staff, they have a kids menu. Would definitely come back here again if there's a chance, especially to try out their pizza next time as I ordered a chicken pasta type of dish that came with salad and garlic bread.

Only thing I would say is if you’re considering wings in Hastings, Square Boy’s wings are juicier. Gillies wings are still tasty, but sometimes a bit dry. For cost to deliciousness ratio, I would choose Square Boy. Wings only. Gillies has the BEST pizzas and other foods. I’ve been going to them throughout the pandemic and they’ve always had great procedures in place and really treat each customer well. 11/10 recommend.
