★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best fish and chips with crunchy perfect batter, generous portions, price is fair and the friendly staff make you feel so welcome that this is now not only our must stop on the way but our destination. We got the chowder soup, the captain special and the ribs. They also have a kids menu. We got warm rice pudding with cream and cinnamon on top and vanilla ice cream. Everything was so yummy that we'll for sure go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was an awesome stop during my road trip. The food was really good and the service was super friendly. My vegetarian brother was shocked at how realistically-meaty the veggie burger was.
For those who live in Norwood, congrats on having a super-safe (and pretty) town. I looked it up while waiting for food, and the most recent murder there was all the way back in the 70's, when that was the style everywhere.
The quesadillas are delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a really fantastic server. She was great about seating us and asking if we needed anything else. She was also had conversations with us about the area. The food was amazing. Had garlic bread with cheese and bacon as an appetizers, the the Hot Chicken sandwich and my mom had the clubhouse. Both meals were perfect and there was lots of it. Also they followed the Co-vid measures as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the worst service and food ever! Ordered the halibut and you could squeeze the grease out of it. Ordered the fries with it and they were greasy dripping and like rubber. When we brought this to their attention they said it was our fault for ordering the halibut and offered no compensation. Worst staff ever! Used to eat their a lot. Ruben is the owners name and he is unavailable for contact. Poor business operation. We were there February 5th 1pm 2022.
Customers please beware!!!! Unless of course you like paying 50 bucks for two teas and a handful of fries.
Complete waste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife & I were the first too arrive and be served for for lunch today (March 15 2022). My wife ordered the halibut with fries and I ordered the hot chicken with onion rings, which I was told were made on site. The waitress asked me what side I would like with the chicken. Asking, what the options were she related, fries, rice, mashed potatoes or onion rings. I chose the rings. I pressed the grease out of the first two rings as best I could before I ate them and opted not to eat the rest. My wife's fish was a sliver of halibut. She dug it out of a mound of batter and once finished one could not tell she had touched it. Like the rings the fries were limp with grease.
At the cash There was a $3.49 charge for the rings. When I asked about it the waitress informed me they were extra. Sorry if I misunderstood, but
my wife & I both interpreted her delivery as being included. That being said one would think there would be an up-charge from fries to rings but no, full price for the rings.
The waitress too her credit friendly.
Needless too say, first & last time for Jack's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out for Sunday drive to Lakefield. On our way home we stopped for lunch at Jack's Family restaurant in Norwood!
We're welcomed right away. Seated inside(cooler). Friendly quick service in nicely decorated atmosphere. I had salad...quite good & filling. My husband had senior fish & chip special wow included soup, another side & drink for a great price ?
Small town feel...so appreciated.
Stop by for a delicious meal & homey atmosphere ❗

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was great! There was three in our party, and we ordered different items. The quality of the food was better than pretty much anywhere. We were all impressed. My son couldn't believe how good their veggie burger was. The waitress and the fella that brought our food were very nice too.
My only complaint is that they close too early.
