Dr. Connelly is my family doctor, so I usually go to Kanata North for walk-ins when I am very sick. Dr. Connelly is the one who told me to do this instead of going to other walk in clinics or the emergency.
This doctor entered the room without knocking. She did not offer any respectful greeting at all. I don't keep a log of the dates and times of my visits so I could not offer a precise date for when I last visited. When I was off by a few months, she nitpicked! It was really surprising and caught me off guard.
I explained my health issue (severe chest pains on the left side only) and instead of asking me more questions, she said that it's very rare for any young adult to have heart conditions and the walk-in is not for convenience purposes. WTF?! I told her she was very rude to assume I came here out of convenience (this office is completely out of my way). She tried to backtrack on what she said and was incredibly dismissive of the fact she was rude. So now I'm going to the emergency because there was no reassurance or explanation about what could cause a sharp chest pain over the past few days. AVOID THIS DOCTOR!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. McBride is an absolutely fantastic doctor. She is kind, caring and takes all the time necessary to care for her patients. I never have felt rushed with her and have never left her office without having all of my questions answered and issues addressed. My family and I consider ourselves lucky to have her and would literally follow her anywhere!
