Mayland Medical Center is a private medical clinic based in comfortable north east side of Calgary. Mayland Medical Clinic is under new management since September 2016. We deliver the highest standards of patient care and offer an extensive range of healthcare services and treatments. We have achieved these through combined efforts from competent and service oriented family physicians and other health professionals who constantly aim to provide quality care to patients across all ages. C	Charlie Schweitzer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They required me to do something that is NOT required by law for me to have access to my health care services. I can choose whether or not I want to shop at Costco and wear a mask, I do not get to CHOOSE where I get my essential life prescriptions. I have been using this clinic for years. My family doctor is good. The front desk is rude, and unaccommodating. On multiple occasions... But this occasion I was told I would be required to wear a face mask to be able to get a walk in appointment to get my regular necessary prescriptions, or cover my face up - I don't own a mask. I've been working this whole time, no mask required or necessary. So I wore a jacket that would come up over the bottom of my face. Problems solved, I thought. She completely refused to provide me with health care if I was not masked. I don't own one, and have not been required to do so at ANYWHERE else, nor is it required BY LAW. So I demanded to wait for the doctor to pass by the doorway so that I could briefly bring it to her attention, the doctor gave me one and I wore it, but that was the most negative experience at a clinic to date. I can choose whether or not to boycott Costco for requiring them. I will be changing family doctors because of this experience.

I came in because I have a sore, red and swollen throat, I have been tested for covid and it came back negative so obviously I have to go to the doctor to see what is wrong. The doctor didn’t swab me or anything! Looked at my throat and agreed it was swollen and red and said “you have a virus or something” exact words. Told me to take Tylenol and looked at me like I was a waste of his time, asked me what I expected of this appointment. I expected to be properly treated My throat still Was hurting so I went to a different doctor and they said I have strep and I got a prescription. DO NOT GO HERE! They are unprofessional and sent me home with strep without doing proper testing and couldn’t even tell me what was wrong with me! Absolutely ridiculous, if I could give a zero star I would.

She is the nicest lady and always makes me feel like I’m her top priority. I also have never had to wait more then 20 minutes to see a doctor, its awesome!

I went at length describing my diagnosis and what the treatment plan should be and the dr tried to dismiss me without the prescription. I just sat there and stared at him until he said what? Then I repeated what the treatment plan should be. I wonder what my experience would have been if I had not asserted myself? Geez.

She dealt with a few issues immediately that my Last DR, just ignored. Im giving her 5 Stars! Shes doing a great job!
T	Tara Dame on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was wanting a family doctor for my child, the Dr. we seen was very rude after discussing my concerns and asking for a refferal to a pediatrician Dr. Malik Imtiaz stated "it would be messy for him receiving the paperwork from the refferal source. He also stated "I should find a doctor in my area" which I was trying to do! Dr. Imtiaz was rude and will not be seeing him ever again and do not recommend if someone is looking for a family doctor.
D	D M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doctor review If you are thinking about seeing dr Malik Imtiaz, think again and move on now! I seriously question his moral compass when it comes to helping patients with a mental illness. My experience with him is that he obviously doesn’t care about the patient and spends most of the appointment reading reports and taking personal phone calls from his bank and then proceeds to make every excuse to not help in anyway. When you ask questions he becomes very intolerant and kicked us out of his office, leaving a very vulnerable senior citizen to fend for herself. The office staff is also very shady. We had a confirmed appointment and when we got there they told us that the appointment was for the previous week. I witnessed another patient being told the exact same thing. This is no coincidence. I am seriously considering escalating my concerns to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
A	Anissa MacGregor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The front desk ladies were busy with a patient so I waited for them to be done, just for another lady to come in and they proceeded to help her before me who was waiting already to speak to them. This is my “family doctors” office & the amount of disrespect for a family doctor office is absurd. This office should just be shut down with the amount of stuff they allow to go on here. They never take anything serious, nor do they care for your mental health. If I were to kill myself today I’d hope this office and the doctor we’re to be at blame for not doing as asked and looking to getting a psychologist when need be.
