Years ago they used to offer great deals. Not sure what changed, but they are running borderline scam now. You should be really careful. Disregard what they put in estimated value and a referenced 3rd party seller. That seller is likely also them. Value overinflated. Customer service responds with pretty much a fyou.

Was a long time fan of the business until their **New** 20% Buyer premium.....+ 13% Tax.... Really..... When auction items are already selling for very close to full retail on auction if not more in some cases, there inst much room for savings making it no longer a liquidation site. (Greed got the best of this business) They changed their name to a more fitting "Maxx" as in that's what your paying for used returned goods with no warranty...

Buyer Beware! I spent thousands of dollars at this place, had one issue that I reported to them and they cancelled my account without any conversation, they don't respond to emails and there's no phone number to call. I bought one lot of clothing (150 pieces) and every single item was either stained or ripped even though the description said less than 20 percent damaged. The absolute lack of customer service is appalling. For the buyers fee they charge they should have some sort of customer service and be able to handle issues that are their own fault.

It was better before. 20% buyer premium + 13% tax, items are no more interesting. Also closing earlier than before Saturday till noon only. Also got issue with their delivery, they don't give you tracking number (need to ask by email). And they took my old address automatically from the old website (which was better btw) and when I didn't show up in time Saturday because they close early now which I wasn't aware of because that's an habit to come Saturday the same time, they send automatically with shipping but without confirming the address. They called UPS to change the address to my new one, but it didn't worked, got delivered to old address, which is totally stupid because the label was newly created, they didn't sent to UPS the package yet. Very frustrating. Will avoid using their service from now on.

If you are the type of person who expects a good service, this is NOT the place. I made a review pointing out that after a purchase of 1500cad, they did not accept to "forgive" the restocking fee of 3 mousepads (15cad). Contrary to a positive response, they canceled my account... In wake of Ukrainian war i organized humanitarian help for Ukraine. I saw Children’s Tylenol at Auction max, there were 16 bottles available and I decided to buy all as it is one of the items required. I bought it early March. I paid delivery fee. It arrived on March 11. When I checked the product it was expired as of February 28. Truly frustrated I emailed and complained. In their response they did apologize and refunded the amount payed, however they decided to cancel my account and forbid me to show up on their property on Bartor Rd. Truly just for profit with all their Christian blurb on website they do not come across as such. It felt almost it is my fault they sell expired items especially CHILDREN’ Tylenol!! Unreal. Low. Not first bad encounter. Would never recommend anyone buying anything from their filthy stock.

I recently purchased a king size bed from another retailer and was looking on the internet for good deals on bedding items. Found some really affordable bedding items with Maxx that were selling for much more on other websites and in stores. For example, I bought one item that I saw at Winners for $149.99 and I paid $20 and $25 with Maxx. Saved a lot of money on my purchases with Maxx Liquidations. Have been trying the auction and while I have liked some of the items and have placed bids on them, I always take into account the 20% premium and 13% tax and have dropped out on all attempted purchases. I will continue to use Maxx but only when I can find something that is a really good deal. Follow-up comments: I have since purchased many product through Maxx Deals and the auctions and am extremely happy. Still getting great deals through both and in fact, there was one item that I bid on and won and decided to sell it since I got such a great deal through the auction even after the premium and tax. Made three times the cost and sold it on the same day I picked it up. Most things I keep for us but some I will re-sell. i get the opinion that the many of the Maxx members are retailers/on-line sellers and are making very good money. In terms of customer service they have been great so far. One of my first experiences, when I checked the goods there was one missing I told them and they went to find it right away. Turns out, they could not find it (I bought the last one) and they gave me a credit for the price of the product on top of refunding the cost I paid. The warehouse staff have also been very friendly as well. There are great deals to be had but be careful, especially when bidding. Do your research. I like the fact they include links on many of their products so you can see what normal retailers are charging.

Nicely wrapped and sealed book case. Turns out all the pieces are cracked inside. If you are looking to buy their product to use as gifts, don't bother. Just open the package and check yourself because there's no exchange. Straight from their warehouse to our curb for garbage pick up. Either they changed owner or something (name changed), the customer service is not the same as before. 6+ years with multiple accounts. Guess I'll be shopping else where. Additionally a 20% bidding fee? Higher than most other auctions around the GTA. Btw, the staffs are great. Maybe it's just the new owner (if they changes).
