Beware all Ye who enters here

The housing system there is corrupt. The housing workers have close associations with slumlords and keeps them in business by sending people going through traumatic health situations there, fully knowing that these people need there health to get better not worse. The place was a rats nest, filled with bedbugs and roaches, and rats. Had to remove a rat corpse from the patio. After working on the place, found 2 bored holes leading into the foundation which was how the rats were getting in. $5 worth of caulking fixed that, but the landlord was too stingy for that. had just got on odsp, and when i moved in there the neighbours opened my mail and then acted innocent. So disgusting, pure exploitation of human beings, and its sick cause there the types who act like theyre good people, dedicating their lives to help those with health issues, but really theyre just extorting these people for the little money they have, happy to say "well you have a mental illness", as if its justification for what they were doing. that's the problem with the mental health system. The science is fine, the medications and lifestyle adjustments work well. But some people are just psychopaths in disguise, looking for any excuse to exploit others for some profit. what was really disgusting was that i was suggested the rats nest from the housing worker, right around when i was going for viewings for regular places i found online. these people dedicate their lives to exploiting people, it's disgusting.

Reasonable safety amid the very difficult clients. Some are men down on thier luck while others are hard addictions angry people. Drug and alcohol dealers target those out front. The staff help where they can. A lot of resources nearby. Better here than at Seaton House.

If you need a place to stay over night, and there's nothing egg else around, take it, but first thing in the morning start looking for another place to stay. There's much better out there. But the staff was good and professional. Just the area and the people where undiserable

Like anything else, a new location may seem scary to most. Change is something alot of us tend have issues adapting to and this goes for most things in life, but once putting everything behind you and looking forward and knowing their are different types of people in this world you will soon realize that it is not such a scary place. Unless YOU make it one. That being said everyone here is human. For the most part lol jk ? with all that being said come in with an open mind be respectful and im sure you will get the same back. They have been very helpful in my time of need and I pray that they are able to continue helping not just me but others during these trying times in this world

When you have nothing and you’re at the very bottom, they have a place to sleep and something to eat. Street people are full of deep and painful issues, but the ones who serve here care for them faithfully and rarely receive a word of thanks.
