★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this coffee shop using the Google Maps. We tried the pour over coffee here which was not bad. The atmosphere overall is quite nice. See coffee did come slow not because of poor over but because there was only one staff working, this really slow things down perhaps they should have one staff covering the tail while another one is making the coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in for a coffee... loved it so much we came back for breakfast... great fresh food and and great coffee in an chilled atmosphere. Loved the smell of fresh bread that lingers throughout the cafe. The friendly service set the vibe. Get the poached eggs on salmon... just the perfect breakfast!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good coffee on a good day, but it’s not always consistent. Very good bread which is made in house. I sometimes come just to get my bread for home. Baking is good too - love the double baked almond croissants. The room is large but there could be lot more comfortable seating. Quite place in a busy neighbourhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great baked goods. My matcha unfortunately drink wasn't worth-it at all, tasted like matcha powder stirred in hot water, maybe that's what's the fancy name means. Unique interior designs but the yellow light was quite dim and dark imo. Very friendly and helpful staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little coffee shop in Chinatown. I’d definitely suggest espresso or latte but their other offerings look great too and reasonably priced. Tucked away between Main Street and E Georgia Street. Very friendly and attentive staff. Well worth a visit when looking for a coffee like home. I would recommended the Matchstick Chinatown to anyone.

Unfortunately, I can't go there anymore, considering every employee has a different rule when it comes to dogs.
Been coming here with my dog for a cup to-go, I never sit down, it has always been for take-out. Out of nowhere, today, they had a problem and I was turned away.
Anyway, will miss you guys, most coffee shops allow take-outs with dogs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ambience, good service, zen music. I liked the non-caffeinated peppermint, yuzu and herbal tea. The chocolate chip cookie was unique (smashed) and really delicious.
