Completely unprofessional experience. I was ready to have my deck built and sign the contract in early June. I was told it could be built in July. Each email correspondence with Stephanie took about a week to receive a reply. Didn't get a contract until late August. Finally, in September I was told that it likely won't be built this year. She tried to blame COVID, but if you see the Google reviews, this lack of communication is a problem that extends into last year. Cancelled the contract given the significant frustrations working with this company. I definitely do NOT recommend.

Hired company in conjunction with neighbors (8 houses total). Poor communication all around, from start to end. Company was not responsive to emails regarding deposit invoicing or scheduled timing. Follow up calls were not often picked up. Receptionist was very clear that she had no idea what was being done with our project and said that the planner was unreliable and often did not update plans so she could communicate with customers. Got put through to Mike Norris who had no details about my project, and never called back despite a promise to do so. Originally quoted a date for installation of first week of August. Time came and went with NO communication from them, multiple neighbors trying to get information on timing. Fence finally installed September 7-15th. Workers were efficient with quality fencing. Not happy with project management but fence quality and install was well done.

We had MastsersConstruction install our fence posts and gates in our backyard. The first crew to come was the dig crew - Peter and his team were so kind, friendly and did great work. For the gates, we had Greg and Mark (I think) come, and they were fantastic as well! Great work again, and just so friendly and chatty. We would and will recommend Masters Construction for any fencing projects! Big thank you to Kevin and Cory for their hard work as well!

We had initially used this company to get a fence installed with several neighbors. I will preface my review saying that we are a military family currently posted outside of Canada. The fence was for the benefit of our tenants. The quotes were given and the deposit was done early in the summer of 2020. The contract specifically stated that we would be given 1 day notice that construction would begin. We were never advised that construction began. They just walked in the yard and started working without knocking or ringing the door bell letting our tenants know that there were there to install the fence. The job was left unfinished but we received a request to pay the second half of the invoice. We contacted the company right away to let them know that the contact was not completed. There was no news for over 6 weeks when once again, our tenants called to let us know that the company was in our yard doing some work. No notice or even a knock or ring on the door. We again contacted the company to let them know this was unacceptable. Additionally, we had some concerns that we raised, these were apparently addressed by the company in November. But again, no message or communication to us. Finally, we received a request to pay the second half of the invoice in January 2021. Since I was in Canada, I stated that I would inspect the fence myself and then based on my inspection would pay the invoice, thinking that the fence would be completed. What I found was a very poorly constructed fence, some pieces were falling, the door had been damaged and the lock to enter the fenced area was frozen shut ( which is a serious safety hazard since the backyard is the second emergency exit). Immediately upon inspection, I have contacted the company with the list of deficiencies and I have yet to receive an email back addressing the deficiencies.

Masters Construction did an amazing job building our privacy fence and gate. We contacted them because they had previously built a deck and pergola for us about 8 years ago. The work and craftsmanship was beautifully done therefore; we did not hesitate to contact them again. Needless to say we were not disappointed as with their previous work attention to detail is impressive. We cannot say enough about the Masters Team from our initial contact with Kevin who is very friendly and knowledgeable we discussed the plan and design and he answered all our questions and concerns. Peter and his crew who installed the posts took great care around my garden to ensure minimal damage to the plants. Mark and Greg who built our fence and gate did spectacular work. They designed and built the fence exactly as we discussed and their attention to detail can be seen in their work especially the gate which they matched to our craftsman door on the garage. Their work is meticulous and we can't thank the team enough for the fantastic work they have done. We would highly recommend them. Donna and Franco Belle

I used fence master do redo the flooring and trim for my deck, outdoor bar and hot tub stairs (see pic) using composite decking. Kevin and the crew were a pleasure to work with and the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. They were meticulous in all aspects of their work. I would strongly recommend fence masters

I had a poor experience with this company - VERY unprofessional and unresponsive. BEWARE! Do your research and read the reviews before engaging in a business deal with My Outdoor Living. In 2020, I signed a proposal to have interlock work - work could not be done until 2021 due to supply issues. In 2021, I left multiple voice messages and emails with Stephanie and never got a response. The contractor she had employed is the individual who connected with me, he did the work and he was left unpaid for his hard work for months - Stephanie/company did not communicate with us. Following MANY attempts to reach her on my part and without any communication with me - her customer - she directed the contractor to provide me with FINAL invoice for the work and this was PAID IN FULL - same day I received the invoice. Now, 8 months later, she is contacting me saying that she "just realized" that I still owed money as per "contract". My dealings were always with the other contractor who was excellent, responsive and did great work and HE WAS PAID for all materials and labour. Stephanie is now threatening to put a lien on my home or send my final "invoice" to collectors. She claims that the 2020 "proposal" is the "final" invoice...nothing itemized - unclear in terms of charges but claiming an additional 600+$ owing. I first heard of this company from Home Depot whom will also be made aware of my experience. I am a responsible customer and never had any need to write such reviews for any other renovation deal on my home but I felt it was important to have my voice heard with this matter!
