Sarah is CEO of Canada’s largest specialty toy and kids book store. She leads 68 stores coast to coast and online with 3,000 employees including our stores, head office and warehouse – bringing to life our authority on play, and creating a world class employee and customer experience.
Sarah is a passionate, energetic leader with a track record of delivering results while leading transformational change at organizations. Previously she was the Senior Vice President, Customer Experience and Omni Channel Strategy at Scotia Bank where she led the bank from #5 to #1 in customer experience ratings. She spent a decade with The Boston Consulting Group, where she advised Fortune 500 companies on large scale customer centric transformations and cultural change. Prior to joining BCG, Sarah worked with Accenture in Finland, Brazil and the United States. Sarah holds both an MBA and an Engineering degree from Queen’s University. She is a lecturer at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in the MBA program.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I refused hand sanitizer and asked for soap and water. Most places aren't happy with me over this but not Mastermind Toys. She directed me and my toddler to the staff bathroom? I've always enjoyed shopping here for my little one, thanks for being solid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite place to shop for b-days! Great service and they even gift wrap for free! Amazing selection between classic toys and the new popular toys. Only down side is it is a bit pricey but compared to other stores not by much and if you sign up for perks you get the sales emailed to you making it cheaper then the big box stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A had a terrible experience here today. I was looking for gift items and was asked for assistance once. I said no and went on looking for a gift. I noticed a blanket and checked it out to see if it would be a good size. When I noticed it wouldn't be I put it back. I went to the till with my items and at the till the worker had asked if I had removed the blanket from the package. I had not. The blanket was still in the package but it had come apart when I took it off the shelf. The worker said I would have to pay for it since I had touched it and was very rude about this. I was not informed of this policy when I entered the store or when I was offered assistance beforehand. I refused to pay for the item was treated very disrespectfully. I had just received bad health news and wanted a gift to give to my son so being treated like this was quite terrible and could have been avoided if I was informed of store policies once entering the store. I will not come back here and I will tell my friends about this experience.
