8th Street Comics has a friendly and knowledgeable staff and an organized display to take all the trouble out of searching. We can accommodate layaways, give you a file to collect your favourite comics every time they release, and we welcome mail order clients from anywhere in Canada.
Our business strives to be an all-around pop culture centre. We offer new and pre-owned toys, comics, graphic novels, and manga. We carry pre-owned video games and DVDs/Blu-Rays. We’re Saskatoon’s exclusive dealer in magic tricks and Kit-Cat Klocks. We also stock Magic the Gathering packs and supplies to protect your card and comic collections.
Our new comic and toy stock grows weekly each Wednesday. Our pre-owned inventory increases daily. There’s always something new here. Come be nostalgic with us!
Because of Covid-19, we will NOT be buying or trading on the spot. Please call ahead to make arrangements so we may best accommodate you. All items to be considered MUST sit in the store untouched for a week before we appraise them. We thank you for understanding and helping us keep everyone safe.

I was given incorrect information about what issues were included in volumes 3 and 4 of YTLM as I'd purchased the deluxe edition of 1 and 2 (issues #1-20) and was guided by the owner to purchase the regular edition 3 and 4 (issues #10-20, which I of course didn't realize at the time). I called back the same day to explain the issue, they admitted to their fault and still would not refund or exchange the comics for me. The owner took my phone number and promised to call me back and never did.

This store had alot of goodies at a GREAT price, trust me.
I met the owner, Quinton, whom likes to share stories all the time I go (Quinton met 1 of 2 creators of the Sleepwalker comics, Bud Budianski☺).
The owner kept his promise to me about holding onto my Box set of Sleepwalker, that was awesome of him to do that for me. I will most definitely come shop at this store again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't get me wrong, they have a great selection of comics and related articles. But they don't do returns. You get store credit. I get it when it's a book that could be read -- and then returned. But if you, like I did, buy a present that wasn't appreciated, return something untouched and in brand new condition, then I don't understand. Now they have $44 of my money I'll never see again.
Learn from me: if you are buying for someone else, bring the person along, get them to make the selection and make them pay you back if they don't like it.
