There were like no people and it tooke them ages to make the bill. I’m talking about waiting time like 10-15 mins for a bill, and when it came it was not right. So another waiting. What a dissapointment. Service, ambiance. Nope. Beer. YES!

They said it was for a drag brunch which I was very excited about because it was my first one. it being on King Street and with the million options (even during covid) of brunch places in the city I had high hopes, but this place must have one the worst brunches I have ever had, or I had way too many expectations. It might not be Mascot's fault, because it was a new event and they might have only been hosting it, but this could give the brewery a bad name. The show "Divas Live, The drag brunch" was more divas than actual brunch. There were about 5 options for food, overpriced for what it was. An egg sandwich on a burger bun served on paper plates and plastic cutlery (see picture). They mention or advertise vegan and vegetarian options and let me tell you that if you don't want to pay 12 bucks for an avocado toast that is smaller than the palm of your hand... eat at home before heading here. A total rip off on the brunch considering you also have to pay admission. Pancakes looked good, only item that seemed decent enough. On the other hand, drinks are standard and the service people are extremely nice. The drag show was amazing and the queens were very approachable and funny, completely recommend on that sense (tip your queens)... just have brunch somewhere else before heading to see the show. I will not be coming back.

With a name like 'Mascot' I'd expect more of a sporty theme, but it was very whitewashed and nondescript. Half of the food items we ordered were unavailable (wings, tacos) but the stuff that did come was tasty if not overpriced. The service was ok. The manager apologized to us a few times and he was very professional. Beer was pretty good but also a bit nondescript. All in all I don't think we'd return. There are better beer options and better food options. Mascot does neither well enough to make me want to go again.
