BEST MEDITERRANEAN food in all of Toronto. This is a very upscale restaurant that can be easily missed from the outside as it’s front hoarding is so unassuming. Once you are inside, you know you’re in for a treat. The interior is beautiful and the seating is quite comfy. The portions are large and quite filling. Definitely a place where you share plates. I ordered two things and ended up taking one order home because the first order was so filling.

Overall: the experience was good and wouldn't mind coming again, but thought it was overrated. Ambience: overall pleasant and the lighting and decor worked ok together. However the infrastructure is a bit dated and I can't help noticing small details like the bathroom had this cheap hand soap that doesn't match the price point of this restaurant Service: the waitress knows the menu very well and was making recommendations to us with high level of enthusiasm and professionalism and definitely adds to the positive experience Food: the fries were very disappointing but everything else was good. My personal favourite were the beet dip thing and the lamb shoulder - but again given it was $65/lb I think it met but didn't quite exceed expectations. The fish was ok not my favourite on the table. The truffle cheese flat bread was ok- the truffle taste was not as pronounced as the waitress described. Overall I think if I didn't have such high expectations of this place the food would have been a pleasant surprise, it's still good just didn't wow me to the extent it was described to me

Wanted to try new flavours and chose Byblos. Visited with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and it didn't disappoint. We got the hummus, truffle cheese pide and dumplings to start. For the mains we got the salmon, fried chicken, and the famous lamb accompanied with fries and two types of rice. Saw many reviews about the lamb and the portion & prices, and I was okay without it if it was $200 mentioned by another reviewer. Gladly the lamb had options, based on pounds starting at $65 /pound and doubles/ triples from $65. The one pounder was more than enough for a group of 7 along with other proteins. Loved the flavours and would def come again.

Had a great meal here. The appetizers were fantastic. The geographer was an excellent drink! It was surprising and velvety. Would definitely come back here again and try some different items.

Wow! I’m speechless. We just walked out of the best experience at a restaurant that we’ve ever had! Not only was the food impeccable, but the service was absolutely amazing! We’ve never had a server like that before - who packed our food for us and folded our napkins between meals. Literally setting the bar really high. This is a great place to go on an anniversary dinner as the ambiance is super intimate. As for food, I’d highly recommend the lamb, the fried chicken, the tuna tartare, and the hummus! They were delicious! The fries were great to have on the side but I think that the food listed was our ultimate favourite. If you drink and are looking for a good sour, β€œThe Geographer” was amazing! Overall, every dish and all the drinks had elements that were paired for a clear purpose.

The most amazing dining experience in Toronto I’ve had so far. The food was incredible and the service impeccable. The lamb ribs were so good we wish we had ordered more. The branzino was perfectly seared and the truffle pilau was so unique and so good! The chocolate olive oil cake was divine and I’d go back to have that with the Turkish coffee. Our server was so amazingβ€” wish we had gotten his name. He guessed it was my birthday and had sorbet sent to our table. Can’t wait to go again!

Diverse wine list, including options from Lebanon. The flavors in every dish are bright and diverse. Everything we had was perfectly seasoned - the pide is not to be missed (we had the truffle one). We definitely ordered too much food (which isn't a bad thing) - if I had to cut one dish it would have been the cauliflower. The service was excellent, though I would caution that the ambiance is much different between the lower and upper floor - lower being more casual and the upper is more romantic and intimate.

Perfect experience! The atmosphere is great, love the deco. Amazing service! The sesame lamb rib is a must. The short rib is great but not as special. As for desert, the one in my photo is a pleasant surprise. It's unique and I love the pistachio flavor
