★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a friend to check it out for a potential re-occurring large work event, didn’t tell them why. We were treated poorly by the staff and I paid $45 for one beer and 2 games of pool. Would not recommend and won’t be going back.
This a dark basement bar with not great seating. They charge $9 for one pint of standard beer (no specials) and $26 / hour for a pool table.
In typical greedy fashion the tip suggestion on the debit/credit machine starts at 18% and goes up. Be careful: the bill includes the charge for pool.. you really want to pay 18%-25% for them to hand you some pool balls over the bar?
What is going on with customer service in Toronto? We’ve forgotten where we came from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bar for social gathering with TONS of Pool Tables. They have a Ping Pong table in the back nestled in its own corner. Cozy and lively, a great place to visit any day of the week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is literally the most laid back jig on King Street. The food is decent and the drinks are nice. Happened to try the gin based London calling, it was ok but felt like something was missing. The chicken sandwich is punched in with thyme and the steak spring rolls is East meets West.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are a few tables here if you want to grab a drink and/or food. It’s mostly for playing the games they have. There’s a bunch of board games at the front as well as several pool tables, foosball, and table tennis. I think the pool was $20 an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved it. Nice vibe, good food, busy but not crowed (Saturday night). If you plan to play pool I suggest you to call and reserve in advance, otherwise it will take a while to get a table. But they also have lots of games to play. Strongly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Husband and I went to Roxy several times during our stay in Toronto. Nice open space. Bar, pool tables, food and games. Service at tables is just okay. Good food. Specifically the need and cheese rolls. We also tried the fried pickles, really food. And pizza was just okay. Overall great place to hang out and grab a drink.
