Food was great. Brenda the owner is sooo sweet and a pleasant.

Halibut was yellow and hard. Probably old. Black slimy lettuce on my fish on a bun. Very very very small portions of fish for the price. Looks like store bought coleslaw and salty gravy. Fries were almost all bruised and black and stale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When it was Brenda’s the fish and chips were great and when they went to $18 tax in with pop and coleslaw it was still a great deal. Went today and soggy fish under cooked fries and was $25 no coleslaw as it is extra. Not near as good as it use to be. Sad to see the old place change. Also new name Garage take out. Not impressed and won’t every be back. Used to drive from Barrie once a month. Never again. ?
