★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely recommend Michael over at Martin Fisher Tailors. I had three shirts and a beautiful suit made up and they all look great. It’s not cheap (shirts are $175-250; suits $975-$1475) but you get what you pay for.
He really makes you think about how you want your clothes to fit and feel. He also gently guides you in the right direction when it comes to the style, color, details, etc. Not the easiest place to find though – lots of stairwells in the building. When you do find him he'll have a whiskey waiting for you which more than makes up for it!

We both appreciated his attention to detail and his appreciation to the subtleties of each detail. He's a guy who wants you to wear his suits often, so he puts in a lot of thought and effort into them. Prices are very reasonable. This is now my go-to tailor, and we need to make sure he stays in business post-pandemic. He is a staple, a bedrock-- foundational to Vancouver. You won't regret coming to Martin Fisher Tailors!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointed in this business, incredible rude staff. Felt judged as soon as I walked in, maybe it was because of my skin color. No hello or anything, when I got a chance to talk to someone she was just looking at me up and down as if I didn’t belong there. Then just said what do you want? I said I wanted to get some work done and she told me that I should take my stuff somewhere else this wasn’t the place for me. I asked how come? And she said again that they couldn’t help me.
Please Please do not go here! Specially if you are black or hispanic.
