Dropped off my pants, she told me to come back friday, i went on friday and she realized she didn't even write it in her book, so she didn't do it. I came back monday and the hem was done OK, but the stitching was a completely different color than the pant. Do not recommend.

I came into this place, without my item, and was looking for a price range on changing a zipper on a skirt. The lady behind the counter was extremely unpleasant and lack simple customer service skills. She told me that she was unable to give me a range until I brought in the item. I asked her if she could provide a ballpark so I would have an idea of the cost and therefore could determine if it was worth it for me. I told her that I wouldn't hold her to any price but since I haven't had this service done for me in the past, I have no idea what I am looking at. I even went as far to give so say is it between $40 to $100 or $10 to $40..... She ended up waving me off and begun to help the next customer that just walked in. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place and definitely will not return! What ever happened to customer service? It's a bit puzzling!

This is the place to go for alterations or anything to do with Sewing. I have used her for many years for all my hotel uniforms and repair. She is so friendly and quick. She has been going this forever. I honestly don'y usually write reviews but this place in Downtown is the BEST...

May is great! I was hesitant because I am often very picky with my lengths and silhouettes, but she tailored wide leg jeans for me that were way too long, and cut them to the perfect length to wear with 4" heels. She knows what she is talking about. Trust her! However as a tip I recommend bringing your heels with you if you plan to hem it to a particular length, it will be easier! She also mended some ripped jeans and they are really well done. I will be back with some more items soon!

She did lovely work on my formal gown. She saw what needed to be altered and did it with minimum fuss and for an excellent price. She probably won't do anything for you she doesn't agree with though, haha. Lady is experienced and has firm opinions on what works. She won't steer you wrong, but she also will not kiss your butt.

I’ve been dropping off my shirts here for 5+ years. She sends them out to get washed and pressed. The price is very good, and they are always perfect. I’ve also brought in 25+ items in over the years for alterations or repairs and all of this work has been completed perfectly and in a timely manner. None of the above facts get at the fact that she is such a lovely part of my life. Always with a kind remark and a warm smile are you treated. I would never consider going anywhere else.

Do not bring items here unless you are not willing to get them back. I dropped a dress off here because the sleeves were too tight. May was not sure if she could do it, or how much it would cost, so I asked her to call me with a quote first. She never called and instead just fixed the dress. I can now not get the dress that I own back unless I pay for the alterations I hadn’t agreed to. She hung up twice when I tried to explain.

May did a great job on the alterations for my wedding dress at a very reasonable price - way cheaper than those at bridal salons. She even made suggestions I wouldn't think of myself and tried to save me money. She was very sweet as well. This place is no frills but the work speaks for itself. Total bill for taking three inches off the hem, lowering the armpit of the dress and shortening the straps was 90 bucks.
