I wouldn't wish my enemy to have a house built by Marshall homes even if he/she got it for free.

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE OR EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS BUILDER. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY UPFRONT WITH 0% INTEREST AND DELAY YOUR CLOSING 3 YEARS!! FINALLY ON MOVING DAY WE GOT THE KEYS AND OUR UNIT WAS 80% COMPLETE!! TOTAL RIP OFF!!! THEY LIE, THEY MAKE FAKE PROMISES, EVERYTHING WAS A LIE. OCCUPANCY DAY WE WERE NOT EVEN ABLE TO GO INTO OUR UNIT, THE PAINTERS JUST SHOWED UP SAME DAY. THIS IS AFTER 3 YEAR DELAY. WE COULDNT EVEN USE OUR ROOF TOP PATIO BECAUSE THEY NEVER BUILT US ONE. ALL CONTRACTORS WERE COMPLAINING THE BUILDER NEVER PAID THEM, THEY HAD MINIMUM WORKERS AND BEHIND SCHEDULE FOR EVERYTHING. WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THEM NOBODY IS AVAILABLE. NO APOLOGIES, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY SCREWED OVER 50 OTHER UNIT HOLDERS, NOBODY IS HAPPY WITH THEM PLEASE DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE WE DID. DO NOT EVER BUY OR INVEST WITH THIS SNEAKY HORRIBLE BUILDER WHO TAKES YOUR MONEY AND SCREWS UP PEOPLE’S LIVES!!!

My experience with Marshall Homes is nothing but exceptional. I closed on my Centre Point home roughly two months ago. The unit was turned over in excellent condition with the minor deficiencies rectified immediately. I am extremely happy with the quality of workmanship inside and outside my unit. Customer service is excellent as well. I would definitely recommend purchasing a home from this developer.

I recently moved into my new home and found my unit to be in great condition. Any minor deficiencies that were identified were resolved in a timely manner. I have had a great experience dealing with Marshall Homes and I have been recommending them to my friends and family.

I helped my friend move into his new home and was shocked with the quality. Furthermore the customer service has been nothing but embarrassing from what I've heard and seen. I am in the market for a new home however after the his experience and the outcome of his build I will be looking elsewhere.

Marshall Homes deleted all the negative reviews from their original google profile. How convinient and clever on their part. It really says a lot about a company willing to go to such extreme lengths to avoid negative publicity. I'll do them the courtesy of providing my real life experience with my Centre Point purchase again. Whatever you do, do not sign a purchase agreement with this builder under any circumstances. 1) Their closing dates on the purchase agreement mean nothing. There is strong evidence that they set the earliest closing dates knowing full and well that they will not likely meet the closing date and keep pushing for years while the customer cruises short term rental unit and rental unit with a small child. I begged them to at the minimum just give us the more realistic closing date as we had a small child and the employee just laughed us off saying babies don't know any better and not to worry. 2)The home is poorly built. When I say poorly I mean issues ranging from cosmetic to significant Ontario Building Code violations. HVAC vents being tiled over, leaks through windows, AC breaking down not once but twice (and being told 37 degrees is not that bad and to open a window). 3) Their customer service amounts to ignored e-mails and voice mails and only after threatening to go to Tarion do they show up at your door. 4) Lies, lies and more lies. I've caught their service representatives in multiple lies and point blank confronted them about it and they have no shame that they just lie more or blame the trades. They seem to hire only friends and family who take a very laid back approach to their jobs and have no sense of urgency. 5) The worse part about the entire Marshall Home experience is that they need cash flow to fund their next shoddy development venture so they force customers who they have already delayed for 2 years to close on incomplete units. How is it after 2 years of delays you still can't deliver a unit with washroom doors, mirrors, patio, paint, towel holders, light fixture and yes even missing a smoke detector in my child's nursery. Marshall Homes seems to have a bad habit of biting off more than they can chew. Several other purchasers are in the same boat as us and we've discussed going to the media and consulting a lawyer. In summary, stay away from Marshall Homes. The small town builder that likes to act like a big city luxury builder but in reality amounts to a no name company with no real skill set or personality in anything they do. Craig Marshall, you should be ashamed of yourself.

We waited and waited for Port 32 bungalow townhomes to be released. We got an email outlining the Purchase Event in August. Took the dog to the sitter and got up to Bobcaygeon an hour early so that we could pick our unit. We were #2 and we brought a 10k certified cheque as instructed. We found out there was a “pre-purchase” event prior to ours and that all of the end units with walk-out were gone. Then we found it was a “Reservation Event” - Marshall takes the 10k but there’s no promise to even build the homes! We walked out and decided not to spend 500k that day.Total farce and lies - consistent to posts already written here. Beware!
