The whole experience has been very positive from dealing with the sales people who planned the products and the installation crew who did a really nice job and left everything so clean and tidy. The products are really good quality and I would highly recommend these guys.

After multiple service calls to make them work properly they still dont fully operate. The top of the double hung windows fall down when I unlock then. They used to much high expansion insulating foam. The window frames are bulging I the centers, and the sliding action is compromised. The lock on a casement window I got for my bathroom does not work. After years of living with it I tried to get it to properly lock and it broke the mechanism. A man who came to service them was aggressive and made me uncomfortable. I will not be letting them back in my house. I am currently trying to get the tool they use to adjust tension in the springs so I can make the windows I paid $12,000 for operate. Called to try to buy a part to for my casement window and the are closed until the 17th.

Had a small issue with my front door grip set and reached out to Ashur and his team. Within 24 hours the issue was resolved. Now that is amazing service!!! They replaced one sash but refuse to replace the other 5. See pictures. Dave is both rude, abusive and unprofessional in his interaction with me. They’ve given me no alternative other than small claims court. I’ve made 40 calls to their office over 2 years and dozens of emails. They do not stand behind their warranty. Two thumbs down for this business.

Samantha is excellent at providing recommendations and assisting with selecting the right choices for our needs. Everyone was professional and quick to respond to questions and inquiries. Installation was carefully done and the site cleaned. We even had a custom window installed where they had to make the opening larger for the window and it turned out beautifully. I highly recommend Marlboro and will continue to do so to family and friends.

Working with Samantha at first was terrific, she was so attentive and caring about my needs and budget and was willing to answer all of my many questions. She made a few recommendations that I wasn't sold on at first, like replacing two of my 3 frame windows for 2 frames.. am I ever glad I went for it as these seem so much larger and the view less obscured! I'm also glad she took the time to go over the upgrade from plain white on the outside to brown, it just pops and matches the colours of the exterior so much better compared to neighbours who've gone with white inside and out and the difference in price in the overall scheme of things was minimal and so worth it! Paul was great.. friendly and patient as he did the final measurement checkups and answered more of my questions. The crew of three who did the job were polite, efficient and finished it all in one day. The took care of replacing a bit of wood that had rotted under my sliding door, and also answered all my questions that came up during the process. I had a couple of followup questions/concerns and Tony came by to check it all out, another amazingly friendly and knowledgeable member of the team. He was agreeable on the few minor issues and had Paul come by shortly after to make everything good. All of my interactions with each of these folks was pleasant, fun, and assuring and I will certainly call them back soon to do the largest window and my front door and would recommend them to anyone doing upgrades or repairs.

And the price was better than the three other window companies we approached for quotes. What put Marlboro in a class by itself though was the initial contact by Samantha, who came to our home, explained all the different options and remained in close contact with speedy replies to any question we had. Even in the thick of the pandemic, with supply chain issues all around us, Marlboro manufactured our windows promptly and installed them quickly too. Happy to support an Ottawa-based business.
