★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great to have a butcher shop in the Kerrisdale Village after the long wait. Quality is obvious but prices are high, even for the neighborhood. I was disappointed to get my "12-ounce strip loin" home to discover the weight is exactly 10.4 ounces.
Update Aug, 2020: They indeed made it right, and gave me a new steak when I came in and showed the counter staff the offer in their response to my rev. Much appreciated.

You know the most important part of a great food (especially in meat-based ones) is the quality and freshness of the ingredients. So if you are a professional chef, or you have a great event, do buy your meat from this shop. It really makes a big difference.

Overall nice , clean store currently with occupancy limits due to covid. Good selection of cuts. They also have seafood section and a cold cuts and cheese section.
Compared to Windsor markets , quality is comparable but the prices are slightly more expensive.
Parking is probably the biggest nuisance given the busy 41st street area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m sitting outside, enjoying the 10$ Fried chicken with fries lunch deal that actually costs 12$. The fries were fresh cooked when I placed my order, the chicken is moist with a crispy shell. As for the rest of the store, although the prices may seem steep for some not from the area, I can tell you first hand that their meats are of top quality, my family are regulars to market meats for most holidays. The staff are also very friendly, I love being called boss when I’m just a consumer, makes me feel like I’m doing what we were born to do, spend money.
