โ โ โ โ โ A company should be measured on how they handle themselves when the transaction doesnโt go smoothly.
I purchased a pontoon-trailer last year, happy with the product and delivery. Decided to order another trailer for my ski-boat. The boat haul has an unusual shape and requires precise measurements etc.
Unfortunately, when loading the boat the daggers caught the axil and jarred the boat sideways causing extensive damage to the gel-coat and paint. The trailer design was off slightly... causing this unfortunate incident.
The ski-boat had to be hauled out by the marina, then loaded onto the trailer, slightly modified to accommodate the boat, raise the wheel-guards. Then, hauled to Sutton for CradleRide to review the trailer and damaged boat. A new trailer was made to accommodate the boat. Jay offered to repair the gel-coat locally or/ allow me to take it to my preferred vendor in the Hamilton area.
The season was getting late, decided to take the boat back to Hamilton and deal with the damaged haul in the spring.
Marina repair shop and CradleRide were in communication and repairs took place. The damage was extensive and colour matching increased the costs. Even though I was being (needled on) by colleagues/ family members to prepare to sue... I was a firm believer that Jay would honour that his company made a mistake and would honour the customer. It was satisfying to see that some businesses still honour their workmanship. CrandleRide made a mistake, but in the end... they got it right and honoured the customer.

The owner always over delivers on his commitments and provides excellent customer service. This is a great place to deal with if you need a trailer, a cradle or custom fabrication.

โ โ โ โ โ Asked for a quote on a trailer and to my surprise at the bottom of the quote they decide to add a disclaimer not only adding 3% if you pay by Visa but also adding 16% to your order. Why you ask, well, because the cost of doing business has gone up. Have never seen or heard of a company giving a quote only to a few paragraphs later adding close to 20% because, well...we're ashamed of how much we have to charge you and believe you'll stop reading after you get the original quote...Unreal
