It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing Indian food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Food is pretty good, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend!

This place used to be great couple years back when it was in smaller shop nearby. We went there yesterday and felt it totally downgraded!! Delayed orders, cold food n when we complained- the attitude and excuse from owner that it is very busy. As a big fan of South Indian dishes this used to be our favourite place to go but unfortunately not anymore.

My aunt and uncle ordered 8 dosas and and a bunch of curries including 2 prawn curries. One of the prawn curries were completely cold and had 0 prawns were in it. We ordered a huge amount of food for a large family and half the family were not able to eat what we had ordered and paid for. In addition many of the dishes were cold and one of my dishes had a hair. When my aunt called to complain the same day no one picked up, we called again today and they said there was nothing they could do for us and was extremely rude to her on the phone. DESPITE HAVING A RECEIPT TO PROVE OUR FULL ORDER! They kept claiming we DID not even purchase a second shrimp curry. We will definitley not be coming back here next time we go out to eat. Our family came here all the way from Toronto to visit our aunt's family and were shocked that this happened. I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life. Please do not go here or waste your money.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. I ordered 2 shrimp curries for delivery and what I received was appalling. We received 1 normal shrimp curry and the 2nd was basically frozen mush. It was cold curry (probably from a freezer) with no shrimp. We called Marina Kulcha that night with no response, and followed up today. The response we got was SHOCKING. I did not ask for a refund, but simply an apology or some accountability for what had happened. When I explained what happened the manager proceeded to deny my claims and yell and talk over me. He even said he would "tell my husband" as a threat?! I was simply looking for an acknowledgement for their error and I was met with the opposite. Needless to say I would never go back to this place.

AWFUL. I would leave zero stars if I could. Everyone can see in the pictures which i have attached. There was a (Hair) in my food must have fell in the box while restaurant staff was packing my food and the packaging was very ridiculous as everyone can see the quality of the box they have used it. (Conversation with the owner) - So, i called them and one of the owner (man) answered my phone. i explained him that i found a hair in my food and packaging is leaking and box is broken. So, owner advised me to adjust this time and he will give me discount next time. i told him in this pandemic situation you guys have failed to meet the critical protocol which is food hygiene and i do not need any discount next time or this time. Because, i am not coming to your filthy restaurant to get hairy food. i told him i have been coming to this restaurant from 4 years. and one time we found a piece of plastic in our food and they advised us same thing (Adjust this time). i strongly suggest restaurant owner to come up with better communication with your customers. Nobody deserve to get the unhygienic food from any food restaurant. Safety tips which this Restaurant have failed to comply : - please wear hairnets and tie up your hair properly. Even though you are the restaurant owner you still have to wear proper uniform. - Use some quality boxes to pack your food. you guys have increase your food price since you have develop your place then why do you compromise with the material and use those rubbish boxes. - Last but no the least please take a proper action and come up with better solution on unhygienic food complaints. PLEASE FOCUS ON THE FOOD QUALITY AND YOUR CUSTOMERS SERVICE RATHER THAN EXPANDING THE SIZE OF YOUR RESTAURANT.

The service keeps getting worse every time you go. First they get you seated on a dirty table. Then the serving staff takes forever to take your order, they bring a portion of your drinks when you're almost done your food. Food items full of sour sauce (to which one of the employees acknowledged that they have had few similar complaints earlier as well). You request to get it remade, they apparently wipe the sauce off of the order and serve you with the same plate. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Service is pathetic, they desperately need to hire more staff as well.

Very poor services. They don’t care how much time you been waiting for the food. Just wasting our time, thinking they might have improved this time. Happened third time in a row. I decided to stay away from this restaurant. There are many other Indian restaurants in NE Calgary, providing excellent customer services and great food. Not recommend at all.

Went today for lunch to taste the food for work get together. Staff was polite and welcoming. The girl at the counter offered discount for large get together which showed her interest and dedication towards her work. The girl with glasses served with smile and thanked me for my visit. The food was average so decided another restaurant. The staff is an asset to the restaurant. Well done and keep the good work. The only negative I could see: the cutlery should be served before the food, and no one came back to ask if I wanted to order anything else. I was 50/50 on mango lassi . Had they asked may be I would have gone for it. But I guess that’s the part of training. Will definitely come back to try different items.
