W	William Dietz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our experience at Marconi. We decided to come on a rather snowy Sunday evening, so the restaurant was not very crowded or busy. There was a good mix of table and bar seating - we opted for bar seating (always do). The drinks were superb and crafted by a wonderfully hospitable bartender. She even offered us blankets if we were too chilly! The menu was varied but not overwhelming or intimidating. We ordered several small bites, a selection of mains and a couple desserts. The quality of the food and attention to preparation was incredible. The dishes were not overly complex but the flavors worked so well together and were quite comforting. I've never had sweetbreads that tasted and had a texture like perfect scallops, but that's what the kitchen managed to do. Incredible. The staff was down-to-earth and we even chatted with the chef for about 20 minutes while the restaurant was closing down. We don't live too far away but we agreed that we will DEFINITELY be coming back - I think, soon to be a favorite spot. PS. yes, the prices seem a bit high for the portions, but when you are serving high quality product, prepared with great skill, we find it is well worth the price.

We did some of the natural wines by the bottle and they did not disappoint. The staff was lovely. I can't wait to come back soon.

Our waitress recommended 2-2.5 plates per person which was just right. The gnocchi was delicious and I recommend the strawberry shortcake for dessert. I also enjoyed the chips with house sour cream and onion dip. The outdoor patio is comfortable and staff is very helpful.

Hinestly, I would rent a loft above this restaurant just to be able to smell it daily. Small beer selection, but you should be going for their amazing craft cocktails anyways. Its my 1st time in Montreal and I would come back just to eat here.

We chose the "just bring us a bunch of chef-inspired stuff to share" option, which was an amazing decision. Everything was great, I couldn't even decide which dish was the best. Great wine list, and perfect service. Definitely worth a visit on a fancier night. Direct view on the kitchen, well-furnished bar, good vibe.

Original tapas found no where but are incredibly memorable, tasty and planning for your next visit while you are finishing dinner. M	Max Seltzer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really delicious meal. We were dining with a pescatarian so most of our dishes skewed veg/fish, of which there was thankfully much of! The highlights: delicious Arctic char crudo with soy milk, a beautiful shrimp and cucumber soup, whelk toast with aged cheddar, and an unbelievable beef tartare with a herring dressing. Each of these inspired, seasonal, and really spectacular. I also had a cucumber cocktail that was deeply vegetal in a way I loved--so fresh. Regrettably the gnocci disappointed (too much lemon, and we weren't really sure what the dish wanted to be), and the dessert list lacked a bit of inspiration. We'll be back again to keep trying the menu, we love the vision.
