I completely empathise with the situation but something definitely needs to be done. It is a difficult time for anyone to be alone, specially be away from the loved once. Kindly do something about this. #prioritizefamilysponsorship

It is too long to keep newlyweds, families separated. Missed my 1 year anniversary, 2 birthdays, Christmas, New Years. I spent all alone. Marriages has become virtual. No response from visa centre on my application although everything is completed. Feel anxious sad despair daily, miss my family.

He is still there waiting for a decision on his application. He got injured in the earthquake that happened last week, August 14, in Haïti. Now he is homeless because the house he was living is badly damaged. This was reported to IRCC, still not a word from them. Just this silent that is more hurtful than everything else...

He has not answered calls to prioritize family sponsorship after months of separated families have tried to contact him. My husband and I have been apart for more than ten months and the visa offices are silent. We understand that this is a pandemic but why are migrant workers and students prioritized over us? Something must be done. I was born in this beautiful country and am a loyal taxpayer. This treatment is unfair and unwarranted. Have some human empathy and compassion.
