★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is impossible to get in touch with. I have being trying every day for a week now. No sipervisors return calls, when you ask what the reps. name is, the hang up on you. Nobody can give me any info about my parents card unless they are beside me. For 5 days I gave driven 45 min to have them there to answer questions. Howe er, every day is the same . No answer, busy signal always. This place has made my health deminish fast. A big 0 is what they all deserve. They really need to fire the lot and rehire people that actually can deal with customers in a respectful manner. Because of this, I curse you all to a family member getting sick and needing to use your basement ,non existant, service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst service in Winnipeg. I think the people working there are similar to sloths. They don't care whether you live or die. They don't have a sense of emergency. They will always find an excuse. I don't know why health minister Audrey Gordon doesn't look into this office. Just listen to recorded phone calls and you'll see what's the problem here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Applied for changing address 4 months ago and status update. And now discovered that was cancelled my Manitoba health, when need doctors exam… worse customer service, during COVID everything closed and waiting by phone 30 minutes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Applied for my health card last month. Called them today to get an update. Waited 30 mins on the call, and then the agent received the call only to hang up immediately. I have never seen such bizarre customer service ever in my life!
Update - Called them again, this time I waited 20 mins. The agent picked up the call, and told me that I would receive my health card sometime in January. They are now processing applications from first week of October. Good luck to you all who are waiting for your health card!
Update 2 - Finally got an email today after 2 months of waiting that my health card registration form has to be signed by hand, not digitally! Sent an email back with my signed form, not sure how long I have to wait for their next response and when I will actually get my health card at this point!
Update 3 - Finally got my health card today after exactly waiting for 3 months.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update May 2022: I had to go for an in-person appointment to resolve this.
I emailed my documents to extend my Manitoba Health card at the end of December 2021.
I decided to make a follow-up call after two months of not receiving a response to my request (Feb. 2022). After waiting 20 minutes, someone stated that they were working through the December email requests and that all I needed to do is to wait a little longer.
Another month went by with no response to my emails, I called again to confirm the processing of my extension. Another person answered my call and quickly checked my emails to inform me that the documents required signatures and that I needed to resend them. I did this that same day after our phone call.
I'm still waiting for confirmation that my extension will be processed and mailed to me. It is extremely frustrating and stressful to have medical bills pending as a result of an extension not processed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast processing for in person visits - you will get the health card right away, if u have all docs ready. For online processing I would give a score of minus 10000. So anyone who needs health card immediately pls rush to the office

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Five stars for the in-person experience. The overall experience (which caused me to have to go into the office in person in the first place), probably far fewer stars. But I went to get my health card in person and the process was very smooth and fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week I visit for applying health card for my baby, they give me number and said to wait for an hour, I preferred to do so but surprisingly my turn came after 35 minutes of waiting.
Staff was very very nice. She done mine application too along with baby.
Quick note: For work permit holders to apply for health card:-
1. Valid work permit.
2. Two address proofs one can be driving license or Lease agreement or job letter.
